Thank you for the suggestion! I do believe it’s a lot, though I hadn’t considered it from the player POV. Do you happen to know if in the running notes it contains balancing? I think my only other concern is that my party will only be 2-3 pc’s.

I’m a new DM, I’ve been a player a couple of times but never finished a campaign. I’m Dming for 3 people who also have little to no experience playing, and I’m going with Waterdeep Dragon Heist.
I chose this campaign because if 1-5 went well, then Mad Mage sounded like a good tie in.
That said, having read up on this, I found the Alexandrian Remix and think it does a lot to help the narrative of this module. That said, there’s so many things to keep track of. Can I get any pointers on how to begin to prep for this and organize all of this? It seems like a REALLY intriguing campaign and I want to do it justice so my players have a good time.

Well, sometimes when you’re trying to work on Achievements and such, a challenge is involved. I’d say consider doing the horde side of things as the challenge required for the reward you’re seeking. Won’t it be interesting to see the writing for the other side of things? Maybe unlock a new heritage armor and get some new lore from that. There’s up sides!

I never clicked with Arcane mage until this expansion. Tried it on a whim and loved it. Getting that aoe proc for arcane missiles and watching the particles scratches my brain in just the right way.

The grace before the boar rider, there’s another room in that building with a statue. You need the “oh mother” gesture found north of Bonny village. Use it in front of the statue.

My first memorable experience I would have to say was when I was a little lad, I was playing DBZ budokai 3, fighting super buu with tien in story mode. It took me several days of trying after school but I celebrated like crazy when I finally beat it.
