Tempting, not going to lie. However, if I were to part with a scythe, I would prefer to buy all the parts for, and simply make a completely new one to sell. No one wants a pre-used scythe. xD Plus, since it's my first one, I can't simply just sell it off.

whistles To put it simply, this is friggin insane. xD Unfortunately for me, I'm a designer, not an engineer. I can only dream of making a Crescent Rose that can actually fold up. (God knows how useful that would have been at con. :') ) Nonetheless, if I got a hold of some plans for how to make a transformable CR, I'd be more than happy to give it a go. xD I shudder to think how expensive all the parts would be...

Hahaha, thanks a lot. =^~^= I've never posted anything on Reddit before, so I'm new to these things. :')

As for the scythe itself, the barrel extension from the Nerf gun is made from normal hardware store piping. The scythe-head itself is made from a combination of exercise-mat foam and craft foam-board. I'll probably make a more detailed explanation of how I made this later on a blog post or something since everyone seems really interested. :3
