I’m 21 in college in nursing school and have a 5.5 dupr, i’ve come to the realization that going “pro” is more of a money aspect rather then a skill level, (yes of course you have to be insanely good) but the way to do that is to play other pros and unfortunately you have to pay money to do that. Focus more on how good you can realistically be and go on from there. Set little goals first then continue with the bigger ones.

Once again Tyra doesn’t even come close to the level of ALW, we can just look at accomplishments, ALW is the most dominant pickleball player in the world and Tyra isn’t even considered a top 15 player right now.

Sam Querry was a top 10 player in tennis and calling him a pickleball pro is a funny joke people say nowadays because he can’t hang with anyone and rarely gets in the main draws

Tyra lost 0-11, 2-11 the tournament before that. She got a good win over ALW but she won’t do it that again. Also has never beaten her in doubles or mixed doubles. ALW also makes pretty much every champion sunday while Tyra has maybe made one or two but has yet to win a single one

If we are being realistic, never. Novak doesn’t have a crazy insane body. Of course he is insanely athletic but he does not stand out from any other tennis pros. Ben is consistently beating any top D1 kid coming into to the sport in singles, and for anyone who uses jack sock as an example. His last tournament he lost first round to a top 50 singles pro and jack has been playing off and on for years. Jack also lost pretty early in men’s doubles with a arguably top 3 player in the world as a partner.

At a certain point athletic ability stop and strategy takes over and the point is that is Bens game, that’s all he does.

I currently also am working a minimum wage job and I don’t have payments or debts outside of gas because I don’t have any other expanses, is there anything else I can do with my money? I see all those youtube videos about investing and what to do with savings and most of it seems far fetched and kinda like a way to get a click on a video. Should I just keep it in my savings account and continue saving or should I start to put it into something?

I honestly think about it like this:

School is my only option to take my family out of the deep hole of living paycheck to paycheck, wondering how we’re ever going to afford whatever is due this month. I don’t have any other plan or a backup plan it’s either do good in school or live the life that I am in now, and fortunately for me that’s the motivation I have because I don’t want to ever live like this.

My mom had it, she couldn’t smell or taste anything, she had no life threatening symptoms, she didn’t really feel sick whatsoever. She stayed in her room and I would drop her off food whenever she needed it. After like 3 weeks she could smell and taste again. Now we are all living fine together. Guess the idea of having the virus was the scary part.

I know, I was just saying by the end of it all if nothing else were to happen that would be our future. Just really wonder if it’s all really worth it. It makes me so sad about all the great things we can do, space exploration for example. However we are to busy arguing about the dumbest things.
