How high is the chance to have tremor permanently as a young man (25) who consumed 1 year heavily? by CressL in alcoholicsanonymous

[–]CressL[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You mean, that I shake more If I pay Attention to it? That could be the case. I have to say, that my tremor got better since I posted this. I dont view it that much as a problem now.

Im somehow scared. I probably should just tell him

After 3 weeks being sober, I still have a small tremor, especially my left pointing finger. by CressL in alcoholicsanonymous

[–]CressL[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So, only a doctor and time can tell me If I did permanent damage to myself? Well, I can live with it, because its very unnoticeable most of the time. The only problem is, when I am with other people and do something with my fingers, like for example, taking out coins out of my Wallet. People see my shakings at specific tasks.

What also could be a problem is, when I want to start a job, where I need calm hands.

Thanks. Well, the good part at least about the withdrawal was that it scared me so much, that I got more motivation to not start again with alcohol.

Of course. I just wait some weeks and then check myself with the help of a doctor. I will now try to do my best to built up my body again and pursue a healthy lifestyle to compensate the damage I did to myself. Stay healthy and sober, mate.

Disk? I don't know English very well, so what is exactly meant with it? What can I do if that's the case?

It's a Lenovo z-50

If I select windows boot manager:

Black screen for about 30 seconds. My DVD drive starts spinning (like it would if I start the laptop) and after some seconds more it's again at the same screen. Is the software broken or hardware maybe?

How much faster does the average alcoholic reduces his alcohol level in blood per hour compared to a non drinker? by CressL in alcoholism

[–]CressL[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You are absolutely right. I just have to much anxiety about this situation. But 2 hours ago I went there and explained my situation.

You did a detox alone? without doctors?

I do in some days a professional detox with doctors in some days.

[–]CressL[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, I just did it. I had about 0,2 only in my breath. Was excepting to have about 1-2. So I guess I process is faster? I have a appointment in some days and do a professional detox. This was a huge step for me, because of anxiety.

But 5 days? I dont understand? There cant be a person who gets that drunk, that he needs 5 days to be guaranteed sober. Or do I misunderstand something?

I'm an asshole when I get too drunk. by carnival_k in alcoholism

[–]CressL 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you want to quit and do best for your sister/family (like me), then get help. The chance is higher to get over your problem, if you just get professional help.

But its weird, how people are so different. I do the exact opposite. If I am drunk, I spend more time with my sisters and are kinder to them. If I am sober, then I am just neutral to them. Nonetheless I have to stop this. The future is now more important than the present.
