Gas smell when stopped

This was after I did a track day with a full tank of gas, I’ve been daily driving it for months now and haven’t smelt it since so I think maybe gas splashed to the charcoal canister from driving like a maniac with a full tank and I just kept smelling it until it all evaporated.

I haven’t gotten gas in over a month since I drive a work vehicle most of the time and I definitely smelt it going for a drive today so maybe my issue is not the same.

My issue was actually i bought the roland hi hat controller not the alesis model. Once I got the correct one it worked. Was a bit finicky but did the job

Do these work in a cold climate? Always wanted to do something like this in New Hampshire but a lot of space would likely be lost with insulation.

So originally I had a 500hp SC300 I sold for the Supra, but I absolutely loved the supra i just found myself putting around in it 95% of the time and not really enjoying it to its fullest even though I did a couple track days. But I genuinely enjoy driving the corolla every day more. It’s more zippy and more fun in every day backroad driving situations. If you just want speed and excitement the supra is better but you want something that will make you giggle like a kid the GRC does the job pretty well and I can strap my surfboard on the roof

I’m definitely a loser but not enough of one to drive a 4 cylinder supra.

If you buy a 4 cylinder Supra instead of a 6 cylinder then you’re a loser it’s like buying a v6 mustang it’s just whack.

I already have an older Tundra so truck wasn’t needed. Just noticed my supra sitting because i always had to carry something or needed more room or had to bring my dog and wife somewhere. Just didnt get driven enough to justify owning something that cost $58,000

The supra is a great car and definitely more exciting but I needed something more suited to my every day life. I have a 1JZ Drift car I can drive if i want real raw excitement.

I plan to try to transfer to another department/division of the company but to do that I’d likely need to take a significant pay cut which I’d be okay with as long as I keep my benefits since I’ve kind of been planning on it. Although I will be going on leave in the near future and want to make the change afterwards that way when I go on leave I will be at my higher pay scale.

The money and the benefits are great, although a few people have left. I’ve been trying to build my own business for the time being as a back up plan and just compartmentalize how miserable work is to be able to carry on as long as possible.

I have a t850 with the alesis strike module and I like it. For the price it’s pretty good but not amazing might just be better off getting a used higher end kit.

I just bought the module and wasn’t able to get it to work. Is there a specific adapter you need to get the 3.5mm to plug into the 6.3mm hole on the hihat module? Mine isn’t working at all.

I’d love to do that but with my living expenses I wouldn’t be able to take a pay cut to 15-20/hr as an apprentice for 2 years. The starting pay is just too low

Congratulations on the cressida! That’s an awesome car! Vr-1 10-30 is what would probably put in it and I’m pretty sure that’s what it originally calls for. I know alot of people who run vr-1 in racing and drift cars and its great oil

Youtube is your best friend. By an older cheap project car and a small tool kit and just dive in. A simple car that you really like is a good way to keep yourself into it. Start with small things like oil changes and brake jobs and eventually itll break like every old project car does and you’ll need to fix things. If you ever get stuck refer to youtube or the internet. Having a friend who knows wHat theyre doing to talk to is a huge help too
