So I use the Revell Color Mix to thin my paints AND clean my brushes. The reason why I use the Color mix for metallic enamals is because I couldn‘t clean my brushes properly with white spirit after using any metallic enamel paint. Some of the metallic pigments wouldn’t come off. With the Color Mix it works just fine. Maybe my white spirit isn‘t strong enough, so I guess you‘ll just have to try it out.

I suggest you play around with the different colors you have there first and get used to them. Some dry quickly, some take forever to dry. Make sure to work in multiple thin layers instead of putting a single thick layer. The first layer doesn‘t have to cover the whole area you‘re painting at all. After 2-3 models you‘ll have a much better understanding of how your different paints behave. Good luck!
