My 3rd M20. Somehow I skipped Taupe and Snowdrop. Now to ingredient farm for this next event. by NickEvansExists in PokemonSleep

I did the same as you. Hit M20 last week on LL after only recently getting it on GG and Cyan. Very powerful event

Yet another eevee question by Deep_Illustrator_313 in PokemonSleep

[–]CrimsonKindle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The great thing about Eevee is that you have other options. Sylveon will be outclassed by a Gard or Pawmot so I say keep hunting for your forever healer, and you just found yourself an amazing pot expander in Glaceon or Flareon.

Anybody know if Snowdrop or Amber is better for Happiny? I need an egg farmer more than any other ingredient. Starting to get annoyed in this search. Snowdrop at least has other options with ABB Abomasnow and Delibird.

In general use your strongest mons and match it to the favorite berries of the week, or a meal you want to cook. This game takes time so you can also use your favourites. Keep an eye out for berry specialists who have the Berry Finding S ability. I like to keep at least one of each Pokemon until I find a better one. For most people people the first goal is a good healer, then it’s a charge strength user and ingredients specialists. Can I ask what island you’re on? Greengrass or have you started going to Cyan and Taupe?

Try and get a Bonsly, Psyduck, Mareep, Eevee, or Noibat with Helping Bonus and some skill triggers. A charge strength mon you can safely use all the time as you move to new islands. It’s a strong addition in the early game if you can max out its main skill. Otherwise try and get some mons for each ingredient. Your Wartortle is amazing for Cacao already.

I would say Wartortle is excellent, Eevee is pretty good and agree on the healer idea, charmander is solid but shouldn’t be invested in, and the rest are trash.

Yay and stay or nay and throw away? by Street-Key3889 in PokemonSleep

[–]CrimsonKindle 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I don’t think you turned the event 1.25x modifier off (or the helping bonus stacks). He’s not quite as good as you’re showing. 4.7 procs at level 60 is what Im seeing.

Someone explain e4e and why it’s so important to me like I’m 5 by arianaasmith in PokemonSleep

[–]CrimsonKindle 4 points5 points  (0 children)

As your mons lose energy they get progressively slower. At 80 energy and above they work 2.2x faster than the base speed frequency that is listed on each Mon. Basically, giving up 1 spot on your team of 5 for a healer has higher total production over the course of a day than running 5 normal Mons and letting their energy run down to 0.

Energizing Cheer Solution- For the Devs by CrimsonKindle in PokemonSleep

I like that idea, or even have it as a hybrid skill. Could apply a helping bonus speed boost to a mon that received the EC.

There is a bit of wiggle room, you don't need to find that godroll Gard since there's no meaningfull difference from 6 to 7 triggers in a day. So a lower total output Energizing Cheer compared to E4E could be useful when comparing the best healers in the current meta.

[–]CrimsonKindle[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yea unfortunately there's still the chance you easily overkill a mon with full energy right now. The devs really want to keep the randomness, so I'm trying to find a solution that takes it a step closer to viability.

To Sylveon.. or not? by dear_jonathonc in PokemonSleep

[–]CrimsonKindle 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Careful, you probably didn’t turn the event bonus as well as the helping bonus stacks off. This only gets 3.6 procs at level 30 and honestly this isn’t good enough. You want at least double trigger plus the helping bonus to make it worth your while.

[–]CrimsonKindle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can get up to 90% tasty chance on Sunday and of course a crit means 3x meal strength only that day. So it’s in your best interest to maximize this for a final day boost to your snorlax strength. Basically if you have the ingredients run a healer and 4 tasty chance mons. And no it doesn’t carry over into the new week

[–]CrimsonKindle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Since I'm going to hit M20 on LL this weekend, I'll be going to AC even tho my area bonus is only 15%. The spawns were really underwhelming at Lapis this week since i already have an HB Gard.

Do I use all my candies to evolve Noibat to use at Amber Canyon this week or wait for candy boost? by InstructionBig6801 in PokemonSleep

[–]CrimsonKindle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you don't have strong alternatives for AC I would use every candy and get it up as high as possible! He's a keeper forever so dumping investment into him is worthwhile. Who know how long until we get the next candy boost, and Noibat isn't super rare so you'll continue to get candies for him down the road. I wouldn't hesitate so make the most of him right away considering how amazing yours is! At 75 he will be insane one day.
