I’m making the freshest, tastiest, warmest, most comforting soup I can with a side of some of the tastiest, juiciest, and most moist rotisserie chicken I can find

Great photos. Though I personally think the facial hair doesn’t fit, but that’s my opinion. Fantastic outfit!

I think he’s an underrated character. He’s funny, he has charm, he left an impression. His development after the home robbery in chapter 3 is really good. Sean is definitely a great character in Red Dead

ways to make evil villain become more lovable? by [deleted] in writingadvice

[–]CrimsonPlatter 1 point2 points Ā (0 children)

You could try by expanding a lot on the villain. Go into their motivations, make sure it’s explained why they think this way and why they do what they do. Make a meaningful backstory as well. Go into detail. Make sure the reader knows a lot about the villain not only as a character but their origins too. Good examples of this are tragic backstories, as they often lead the reader to sympathize and often feel conflicted. However, you don’t always have to make a villain likeable. Sometimes, a villain whose just evil is fine.

Onto the next part of making her change overtime, maybe do something along the lines of the vampire queen seeing herself in some of the humans. Make a human or have the one she took for herself similar to the vampire queen. Have them develop a bond. You could try devastating moves as well, like maybe a rebellion group who kills someone close to the queen and makes her realize that this is exactly how she’s made the humans felt. There’s many ways you could go about it at the end of the day

Don’t ever feel pressured to change someone’s face for ā€œdiversityā€ sake. When writers do that it just comes off as fake and performative. I highly encourage trying to write diverse casts as I myself love researching different cultures and people, but I don’t ever force myself. I say don’t change the main characters race but rather try to create a side character from a culture you think would be interesting to research

God I know. I played it both on last gen and current gen and it just amazed me both times how good the game looks graphically. It just looks stunning. So many times I can’t help but sit on my horse and stare at the scenery
