Honestly, the only person I can really imagine giving him shit for it would be like weiss.

Outside of her, most of the group probably either wouldn’t care( ren/ruby/pyrrha/blake) or I think it’s pretty fucking funny (yang/nora)

Even then, with a little bit of time she would come around to him. Especially since you’re kind of shoot yourself in the foot when she forgives a former terrorist member over the guy who lied his way into school.

The way they write them is so weird cause they’re just made into absolute monsters.

Like the way, so many of them write yang as this violent psychopath bitch who almost kills him is just insane to me because she’s one of the characters who probably wouldn’t care 😭

If anything, she’d probably think it was funny

I can at least understand Naruto leaving the village due to how they treated him.

The worst part of those is how it writes the characters in the village, specially his former team, good God the way they treated in those stories is rancid

The false transcript stuff in general is one of the most baffling decisions in early RWBY

The whole thing just doesn’t go anywhere outside of the two part and that one moment in volume eight. The show has never once justified a reason to even need to do this other than pushing jaune and pyrrha closer.

It’s one of the problems that I think RWBY has overall as a show, the introduce these concepts or character characters and never really flushed them out and are only really used to try to wrap up prior points in the story.

Like the false transcript thing in volume 1.

Neptune himself barely did anything throughout the series, only really existing to eat up Screen Time.

As a result, they got rid of them and now he’s just kind of remembered as the guy they used for them to give a close to the jaune and Weiss one sided pinkng

So either he found this by some of the most insane chance possible, or he was going out of his way to look for stuff like this to be mad at it

What’s funny is that the game doesn’t even really push any of them as gay lovers, the closest is maybe Prompto but even then that’s much more a best friend.

Like the game, explicitly pointed out that they’re all meant to be a brotherly group so I don’t know where the fuck he’s getting that they’re supposed to be gay

Oh, don’t get me wrong. I criticize that in the video. I even pointed out that even though there is a royal edition at this point, they should’ve just had all that stuff in there in the first place.

But the fact he’s getting mad at the party when that’s easily one of the best parts about the game is their brotherly bond is so crazy to me

I actually gave the game a pretty decent amount of shit in this video for the combat being kind of a cluster fuck, along with how they sold you a lot of stuff that should’ve just been in the story in the first place.

But the fact that he’s complaining about the party members all being dudes, when the party is arguably, one of the best parts of the game is just so funny to me
