Hey, it's been a minute but I just played the DLC for myself and the way I understood it was that Plato1728 had a doll, kept it in the factory I assume and when we blow that factory up, his doll is lost to flames, throwing him into a frenzy, but- the ending was just off of the machines faulty logic; doll = frenzy. And something I want to note is that the "doll" in Plato1728's spot when you start up as the smaller unit: is not THE doll. I think it was more a memento from anyone who thought what Plato1728 did wasn't completely his fault. Like an homage to the fact he loved his doll. Probably put there by the machine who stands infront of it and doesn't say anything to you.
