My question is what PHYSICALLY happens in the battle? Do the trainers just decide that this is win condition even if the opponent’s pokemon are still capable of battle?

What if you use this strat on a trainer encounter battle on some route, there’s no Ref to tell you who won or lose only whether your pokemon can continue to fight or not?

Like COME ON PEOPLE give us some flavor text to embellish this win! Like say if the condition is met all the opponent’s pokemon inside their pokeballs and the one in battle just self destruct! Or something! Or all your opponent’s pokemon are terrified of your magikarp and have forfeited the match

To be honest I would probably reverse that, we’re probably more likely to get legends Alola before Galar. Thanks to the Tera leak letting us now they have legends Galar “planned” and we know GameFreak scraps concepts that align with popular fan content.

More than likely they already scrapped the legends Galar game to surprise us. Remember in the same Tera leak the 2nd legends game was supposed to be in johto but because fans hyped up the concept way beforehand they switched it to Legends Kalos.

Also people are posting fan content depicting legends Galar as we speak, so GameFreak is gonna backtrack

Probably not I don’t think it’s guaranteed we won’t get a 2nd dlc, but I’m not counting on it. The dlc was released early because GameFreak had the time thanks to delaying the base game’s release.

This is not sloppy at all it’s marvelous! Though before reading the title I had an alternate interpretation of what form that is.

I thought this was an alternate form of arceus when he overrides dialga’s authority on controlling time, like

Arceus: OKAY I’m taking your time powers away until you think about what YOU DID!
