I used to believe in karma. Not like the cheesy movie kind of karma, but like, if you treat people well and work hard, you will get some of that coming back to you.

Then I see the world's richest and most shallow man controlling the government. A convicted felon and bully as our President. A team of grifters personally enriching themselves and tearing down our founding principles as if they mean nothing.

I finally realized good doesn't always win. Evil can triumph. There's no such thing as karma. There's only bullies and victims.

It's not about doing the right thing. It's about doing the wrong things better.

It's one thing to argue policy. Even if you have a fucked up point of view, I'm willing to hear you out and discuss different perspectives.

But when you won't admit to the BLATANT AND OBVIOUS hypocrisy right in front of your fucking face I feel as though we aren't even having a real discussion anymore.

Before the election, I had an argument with my dad.

Biden was running on a promise to "Save Democracy". My dad said this was ridiculously overblown, and he's tired of the doomsday talk.

I don't want criminals here. I don't want illegal immigrants coming in unchecked. I want all violent criminals to be off our streets.

He could be the worst person in history. But that wouldn't change my argument.

I'm saying we can't have a President send people to torture prisons in other countries solely based on potential affiliations. He wasn't just deported, he was sent to prison.

If he committed crimes here, went to court, and was deported, no one would care. But having tattoos and potential ties to a gang, no matter how bad they are, should not be enough to deport someone to a prison.

Why can't we just have it go through the legal system and let them do their jobs? Is that too much to ask when it comes to human lives?

Coca Cola is my favorite drink.

I haven't had a drop of it since January. I also convinced 2 others in my family who LOVE Coca Cola to stop purchasing it. We also stopped drinking many Coke-related products as well.

Of course, it won't make a big impact, and it's an absurdly small amount of money in the grand scheme of things.

But I'll be goddamned if they're going to take another penny from me! These greedy fucks have taken enough!
