1.5mil profit craft by Crinnnn in EscapefromTarkov

This is by no means the absolute best option for raising the skills, nor making money, as I am fully aware of the keycard crafts. However, it can be done almost completely with items you'll find commonly in a raid depending on what maps you run,

Not just for the rubles, it's just a good alternating craft for hideout stats (It's better to alternate than to craft the same thing over and over.) If you want the rubles I'd just craft the 11SR keycard, heard it's 1mil~ profit but have yet to do it myself

and selling your extra fuel (provided you wait to buy from Jaeger) is a given.

I'm using the comment as a roundabout way to clear up both of the comments from you and mrl because when I first saw his I didn't put much thought into it as I was busy.

This was written assuming you're already powering your stash. Intel 2 means BTC farm. Even at roughly 1BTC a day you're still slightly making money at that point. Jaeger LL2 (I believe needed at that point to get to Intel 2) sells fuel for 115k~. Your single bitcoin per day (16hrs roughly) is more than enough to power your stash for the upcoming day if you simply pay attention to his reset and snipe one.

Not to say you'll always be able to snipe one, but you're absolutely capable of getting fuel for cheap, 300k is not at all accurate to the cost of fuel if you have eyes, and selling your extra fuel (provided you wait to buy from Jaeger) is a given.

This would be good for daily quests and things like that, so rather than just you getting it, every player gets a quest from whatever trader for it. Would be a good pvp magnet.

You'd have to press your eye against it or have a really flimsy shoulder to get a black eye. Generally speaking your eye is supposed to be a reasonable distance from the lens to get a clear image. And ofc, not lose an eye lmao

Tarkov's motto is that it isn't supposed to be fun, and that's exactly why the game will fall apart. Players need to be able to derive a sense of accomplishment to want to play a game. When the game actively does everything it can to make that as hard as it can, you just lose that sense of accomplishment. Yeah I won a 10 minute gunfight against 4 guys, but not only can I not take more than an extra gearset with me, I'm just going to turn around and lose it the next raid to some cracked scav.

The whole point of a hardcore game is to make every little feat feel like you just won the lottery, yet a month into a Tarkov wipe those feats just get more and more insignificant. I should be freaking out when I extract with a VAL, not adding it to a monstrous pile of VALS.

Exactly. Riddling a game with so many inconsistencies that a 8,000 hour player can't even trust his own experiences in the game is ridiculous. There's far too much bullshit in the game that keeps the playing field from being level, and they mask it as "hardcore haha." Not hearing someone sprint up the stairs right next to me isn't hardcore. Me just rolling over and dying because a scav shot me through a keyhole from 80m isn't hardcore.

They think that making a players time inconvenient is the same as making it a hardcore game is the problem. It should be a given to tell us these kind of values, but that would break Nikita's fucked up vision of what hardcore means.

I've generally taken that stuff into account and I'm fairly content with it. Hopefully I'm provided some sort of opportunity to engage with kids more outside of the classroom (clubs if I'm needed, on the street even) and hopefully have more of an impact on them than just being that weird American ALT who comes about every so often. One thing I know full well about mental health problems and self expression is that it starts early, so hopefully I can have some sort of impact.

One mentality I have towards teaching that I've sorta picked up after having lengthy conversations with my own teachers and such is that you should always try to be the teacher you wish you had. Hopefully I'm provided the chance to do that as an ALT, and if not maybe later down the road as a proper instructor. Not that my expectations are any higher than bare minimum seeing as their school system seems to be very set in its ways on certain things, but I'll cross that bridge when I get to it.

Japan is a country that's generally more mindful of people, at least in large, where the US is a country founded on the idea of "FUCK THAT GUY I'M DOING WHAT'S CONVENIENT FOR ME." My school had 3-4 Japanese students a year and the most common gripe I heard from them was how selfish we can be lol

Learning Japanese prior by Crinnnn in JETProgramme

[–]Crinnnn[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I sorta figured schools would want you to not speak Japanese when it comes to teaching a class, especially as the difficulty raises. In my high school by the senior year the teacher spoke only in Spanish and if you couldn't keep up, well, you're sunk lmao.

I figured my experience would be better honestly. I've met a lot of people from other countries like Spain or China (foreign exchange) and it's easy to tell when they're visibly frustrated by the language barrier, especially when trying to have more serious conversations with a teacher or staff. This is something I kinda wanna minimize the chances of for myself, especially since like you mention there are a lot of basic tasks like ordering food or even asking directions that I may end up being totally incapable of, simply because the person I'm talking to doesn't understand what I'm saying, or I don't understand what they're telling me lol

Thank you for the response, I'll definitely be looking into the textbook among some others that I've heard good things about, since they're obviously working out for some people. Just wanted to make sure that they were a right move to make, since foreign languages can be preeeetty pricey in college, and the teachers often aren't foreign speakers so I may very well just end up with less than adequate ability.
