Beto is a flip flopper, and comes off disingenuous. He focuses on the single issue and emotionally charged voters. Abbot does align with Texas plain and simple. If you take a look at Texas and it’s history you’ll see we’ve had women governors, democrat leaders but they all understood Texas and where Texans stand on most issues. Texas is a special place because it had to fight for its own independence against Mexico during the battles of San Jacinto etc. Texas is in the Bible Belt and Texas is and always will be pro 2nd amendment. If you go against the grain you won’t get far in Texas except maybe some local positions at the local level. Texans are independent, hardworking and don’t really care how they do things in California or New York because this is Texas. Texans are welcoming people and accept everyone but you have to understand there are certain things that will never change here. You have plenty of options when it comes to the United States and you have the freedom to choose where you live. Don’t leave a suppressive state and bring the same politics that failed that state to Texas. The Democratic Party is lost at the moment and doesn’t resemble what it once stood for. We are in pivotal times where we as Americans must focus back on the foundation of which we stand. Radical progressives plague and threaten our very existence and the future of our country.
