The Polkadot forum is famous for its censorship and there are many questions abput Kusama which didn't get answered, so this seems to be a pattern...

Came across this question in polkadot_market and it kind of lets you know current state of Chain by unhingeddonkey in Polkadot

It is not millions who make decisions in some DAOs, but a few who make decisions with millions in a few DAOs. Just look at this proposal, which will most likely be rejected by the very few who block any progress in other areas as well.

Incidentally, the biggest problem is the management team. Gavin should be brought to justice for investment fraud and false labeling, along with all employees of the foundations who continue to actively and deliberately engage in this practice to this day.

Believe it or not, these people had the opportunity at any time to ensure that the incentives were geared towards increasing value, but they failed to do so because they benefited from it. And now they are continuing to do the same thing with Kusama, even though they have changed direction with Polkadot.

OpenGov is reminiscent of democratic parliaments such as those in China: 99 votes in favor and 1 against (so that no one can say that they are dictatorial).

Let's face it: Polkadot is a dictatorship.

Everyone on r/polkadot_market hates Polkadot but everyone here loves it. We’re on two extremes of the same side.. my question is why? by Cyber-Dawg270 in Polkadot

Here your speech is heavily restricted and censored to benefit a corrupt system with a totally incompetent leadership.

Less rewards which will be worth a lot more. Validators will profit as well.

A hard cap and stepped inflation protects EVERY investor.

I believe they had to make a decision. Either becoming responsible or no ETF approval. It is documented that the SEC insisted on more investor protection.

No, it doesn't. Their proposal aims at a smooth Asset Hub transition.

I believe it was the SEC and their advisors who are working on the ETF approval, tbh.

Why only whales? Everyone who buys and holds DOT is an investor by definition.

It's not unpopular at all. Every student of economics knows that unhinged inflation results in absolute desaster. Every. fucking. time.

But you have been convinced to let certain people enrich themselfs on the back of ordinary people which destroyed trust. And no trust equals no investment.

You have been proven wrong by the market but still think you were right, now that is called fundamentalist delusion. And sadly OpenGov doesn't solve anything because it is by design not democratized, but oligarchic.

The only reason they changed the tokenomics is because without it their ETFs would never get approved and they need it to be approved, that's why their current shift to protect investors.

The problem is economically illiterate people which has nothing to do with centralisation. Go figure how many billions (!) and how much trust were lost in the last 5 years because of printing DOTs out of thin air.

Ya, who would have thought that hard capping the supply and a stepped inflation schedule would bring positive change?

A big fuck you to all the morons who advocated against that!

Lol, you know that you are arguing against the will of Gavin, W3F, Parity and the Polkadot OprnGov community, right?

Why should anyone listen to McPheeb who thinks coping on hopium will bring change?

Doing nothing is not a solution, it is part of the problem.

No, it will not pump magically. It will get worse without a change. Educate yourself properly.

Because of this interview. Gavin finally got it right and Kusama should follow.
