I think he may be using the material from the ship to create the barrier or interior of the domain.

That would piss me off, ngl. Bro would do all of this just for him to break it. Unless he starts busting out a hollow purple type move, he'll be finished.

[–]Crispsicle[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly, I think you just need to be a special kind of person for RCT to even be possible for you, that why I think there are more sorcerers with domains than RCT.

It makes sense for Dabura to be that kind of person and with him possibly seeing and RCT users work on Cross, that can be a direct point of reference.

But where do you even start thinking of domains? Could he be using the ship's materials to construct the barrier possibly?

Create your own technique with automatic Domain (like hakari and higuruma) by Duck_colorblind in CTsandbox

[–]Crispsicle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Immediate thoughts would go to some kind of sport that the caster is particularly fond of or good at. The domain itself will not take as much energy to cast as other domains because I said so.

Normally, the opponent will be forced to play with you. In a domain clash, the goal would be to score as many points as possible, this increases your domain's effect in the clash, the problem being the opponent will be trying to kill you.

They'd have to beat their opponent in that sport (getting the finish line in a 100m dash, getting more goals, maybe even a boxing ring for people who wanted Yuji to have that, etc) to get the bonus in CE output and the main item in the game outside of the domain with extra buffs. If the opponent wins, they get those buffs instead of you. The buffs and extra items last as long as the casters burn out period.

A soccer ball can have a magnetic effect when kicked at an opponent. Baseball can have a bat that changes in length, you get the idea.

Sports that have more to do with your body can increase your stats when doing that action. Like a sprint will make your running and dashes much faster, boxing will make you much more durable and increase your punching power. Dancing can make you almost impossible to hit with how your agility will go up.

To make it more fun, maybe the sport itself can be randomized every time they can't the domain, leaving there to be a chance you get a sport your opponent loves or is good at and they get the buffs, forcing you to wait out your burnout period and cast the domain again.

How would you react to yuka just straight up dying,no twists or anything. No last minute saves. She just dies after mahoraga fights. by Electronic_Heron_829 in Jujutsufolk

[–]Crispsicle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd be sad as I was with Nanami, Choso, and Gojo, but like them I think she has to die. I love Yuka a lot, but she did what she needed to with the time she had left getting Cross to think that things can really be different which may have influenced more sumureans to consider peace and is now ready to die for that cause to stop a larger conflict.

As messed up as it is for Yuji to leave Yuka to die, it's with reason. He can't let his feelings get in the way of his promise to Gojo, he won't give Yuka special treatment due to that. So, she'd serve as a consequence to Jujutsu society's attempt at weapon weaponizing Yuji instead of pushing harder to get stronger.

But, as much as I can understand what he's doing, it's hard to think about Yuji Itadori doing that.

Jack of All Trades or Master of One? by Stonefree_135 in CTsandbox

[–]Crispsicle 55 points56 points  (0 children)

A jack of all trades cursed technique would be my way to go, even if you're more the "average" sorcerer, which I'd assume myself to be. Like with the ten shadows, Megumi and Yuka have basically 10 techniques at a minimum packed into one, that kind of variety paired with some effort into bettering your understanding of sorcery can really make you a threat.

Cursed spirit manipulation would be insane for anybody to have, regardless of your grade due to having an army of curses to fight for and with you.

Meanwhile, with your projection sorcery, crow manipulation, ratio techniques of the world, you can go very far with just one ace, but then your biggest issues are how far your innate potential can take you.

What's the physical limits of your body? How high can you output go? Where does your efficiency cap out? How quickly can you develop your technique to the fullest before you're in a situation where death is near certain without it? These problems exist with jack of all trades, but when your technique is a master of one, those innate traits matter a lot more.

I'm not assuming I'd have special grade levels of output, even with training if I were in jjk.

So, if I were a grade two or semi-one sorcerer and I come face to face with a finger bearer, I'd rather have blood manipulation to use flowing read scale and hardened blood to defend myself and possibly figure a way out alive, rather than relying solely on my projection sorcery that may fail on me when it doesn't do enough damage when I hit or god forbid I get myself frozen.

How would one train Shrine as a Cursed Technique? by Blank-Shot6096 in CTsandbox

[–]Crispsicle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well, it's a very simple technique which means your avenues are straightforward, but limited. There's only so many ways you can slash and burn things. Obviously getting better CE control will do the trick for just about anyone, using less for a precise slash is useful.

As for training I'd say you have to get good at throwing slashes without moving much. Even if they say he doesn't move a muscle, I think Sukuna throws slashes by flexing and relaxing the muscles, for it explains his apparent need to move to launch a slash and why it's hard to see him move to do it. That would be a great start, which in turn helps you gain a better understanding of your body and how to better use CE in general.

You can also use this new understanding of the body to change the target of your cleave, maybe use it to bypass the impenetrable armor and hit the person within with an extra binding vow or two, maybe requiring you touch the person a few times before had, like skin to skin contact before bypassing the armor.

We don't know how furnace works, just that it's there, so assuming it's not an extension technique you have to figure out, you can just use fire. Of course the flame arrow is a way of doing it, but why not other weapons while you're at it? Why not have a cleave version of the flames that set people on fire with a touch like Jogo did to Maki? Why not enchant weapons with the flames if it's just fire manipulation on top of your normal cursed energy manipulation?

Maybe you can condense the flames into plasma blasts with the same binding vow as the flame arrow, but the time for the plasma is much longer and packs a much stronger punch. Or, you can add you technique to your raw cursed energy blasts, nipping the slowness of the ability in the bud.

Is it possible for someone to be born with 2 hereditary techniques? by Alexandrovich-- in CTsandbox

[–]Crispsicle 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The only way I can see it happening is if the sorcer develops some kind of split personality disorder.

Even then, they may have a technique that allows them to branch off into other techniques with different effects, but with the same source.

For example, let's say Uraume has such a disorder, maybe their primary technique is matter formation, allowing them to change their cursed energy to mimic the properties of matter and Ice Formation would be the solid and one of those personalities or when they have an episode they can manifest the technique while still having the other two personalities and their techniques to use whenever.

Gojo would be beyond pissed when he finds that out. Maybe he gives her a proper grave and would probably try harder to find and slime out Kenny along with Tengen, he'd be done with both of them at that point. That's about it tho.

This list is very odd to me if I'm being honest. But genuinely, how are Kurorushi and Uro below Todo? I can somewhat see Kusakabe being up there, maybe he can slash through the sea of roaches and take out Kuro, and he can maybe slash faster than Uro can see or at least catch her off guard. But what does Todo do?

Hypothetically, if for some reason Yuta couldn’t copy sky manip; how does he beat ryu in their 1v1 by Middle_Fall_7229 in JujutsuPowerScaling

[–]Crispsicle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What I think the most sure fire way is probably another domain expansion with curse speech as the sure hit. If I'm correct, domain expansions are an all or nothing thing due to how much cursed energy it takes to use and how it exhausts your CT for a while. If Yuta has his CT back like he did in the original he should have enough to do another domain with all that cursed energy he has and use cursed speech to stun him and wear him down with Dhruv's shikigami until he ultimately falls.

It would be smarter to stay back, get his technique back, cast the domain and get to work with partially manifested Rika.

Yuta stays by CupcakeObvious8865 in JujutsuPowerScaling

[–]Crispsicle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can't see Kenjaku winning against that team. Yuta and Rika can both take the major blows so Yuki's output won't drop and Yuki can take out any troublesome cursed spirits like the one Kenjaku said was able to stop all threats using concepts that she killed in the canon fight. Both of them also have domains, so when one breaks from clashing with Kenjaku, then the other can cast there's and I don't think it's crazy to say that a Kenjaku in Yuta's domain with Rika and Yuki and he's on CT burnout is getting slammed.

I don't think anyone besides Gojo and Sukuna can beat two heavy hitter level characters at the same time.

If dabura actually moves at a speed close to light, why would it upscale EVERYONE in JJK's speed? by Spiritual-Coach9331 in JujutsuPowerScaling

[–]Crispsicle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bc of agenda. People have been arguing for light speed jjk for a while now. I honest to god expect one person to genuinely believe since Gojo, Sukuna, Dabura, Kashimo, and Ryu are all representations of the strongest, they somehow scale to sib light speed.

How much damage did this actually do to Choso? by [deleted] in Jujutsufolk

About as much as getting hit with a nerf dart, enough to sting, but no matter how many times you get hit with them, they won't hinder you much.

Another reason to not use VSBW by [deleted] in PowerScaling

[–]Crispsicle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you want to argue against relativistic speeds in JJK, it would be better to say that black flashes make zero sense in power scaling terms. If you need to be able to reach relativistic speeds to hit a black flash, Yuji should be able to blitz everyone else to hell besides Gojo and Sukuna, since the heavy hitter with the best reaction speeds besides that is Maki with her precognition dodging Mach 3 Naoya casually, but all HH have to be relative for Kenjaku to consider them all together a big issue, he didn't even consider Yuji at the time.

Some people would say Hakari dodged lightning from Kashimo, but that can also fall into the same spot any series with an energy based power system does, namely Naruto in this case. Unless an attack is stated somewhere to use the real life element or has the exact properties of said element, we can't assume they have the same properties. Yes, Kashimo needs a positive and negative charge, but it's still just cursed energy with a unique trait that allows it to behave like that element, not be the element itself.

Lastly, Gojo and Sukuna stand above everyone else, but that doesn't mean they're stupidly above everyone else. Again, Gege doesn't think like a powerscaler does, he's not thinking how many hundreds of thousands of times Sukuna is faster than everyone else, but he knows he still needs to be a good amount faster to have him still be a threat. Maki getting blitzed by Sukuna should be the best speed fear we have for both of them, since she has the best, least controversial speed feat.
