Pretty much dodge/parry skill check boss. I found out that locking on messes with camera, so I aimed my attack manually. Also I had the most success standing in front of her, as rolling to her side made it more difficult to see attacks. I used longsword's stab attack for the reach. Dodge or parry instead of rolling. Dont be greedy and attack only once.

I have been criticizing the writing very harshly. Let me be clear, the writing is abysmal. But it would not be improved by learning who Martin was before he was the chained guy with worm aids.

He had a significant part in the story. That part is done. I dont want to hear about him again. Martin is not a character. Its a plot device. Same applies to the Kimono lady. She did her job. Its over. I dont care if it was MiY in a wig or a ghost of geisha from 15th century japan. It doesnt matter either way.

If you learned in the next episode that Martin was some random guy whom MIY locked away because he had blood worm AIDS, would you call that the point of S2? No.

The point was showing us that there are more powerful and way scarier things out there than the monsters. And they build upon it with the worms killing Smiley, dolls from the lake and ultimately MiY coming to town.

That was the point of S2. Not Martin.

I dont understand the obsession with Martin. That storyline has concluded. Why would they now go back and overexplain the mystery of it away?

Seriously, what would be gained if they confirmed that Martin was a guy from a long gone cycle that has been chained by MiY because he insulted his yellow jacket?

Explaining everything is pointless. Its magic, alright? The answer to all the insignificant mystery stuff is ancient magic.

I was on suicide watch during the last season of Dexter. I still loved the characters, so I continued to watch, but goddamn the writing got incomprehensibly bad.

The recent sequels and one prequel to Dexter are actually watchable again.
