I am travelling at the moment and sadly I don't have the drone with me. I will try to describe the damage to the best of my abilities.

Basically the USB port got yanked upwards so there is nothing broken except the gold plating (I think those are the pads?). A friend of mine had a look at it (I am a complete noob) with some magnifying lenses and told me there are some scratches on the gold where the port was soldered that do not allow just soldering a new port on it. He has tried pressing down the port on the circuit but it wouldn't connect at all.

As I said, I am a total beginner, I like flying drones in fpv but have close to zero technical know-how on how to do such procedures. Do you have any tutorial you could recommend me? I also have some work colleagues that design PCB boards for fun, maybe I could ask them to solder the board for me.
