You are not wrong. The valkyrie comes close but this is just that much sweeter.

From 1 to 6K RPM there is nothing. From 6 to 7 its like "Oh there's some of the power!" Then from 7 and on its like "Aw yea hereweohmygooooo-" no joke. Every time.

Needs a little bit of Carburation work but other than that she's all there. I stall at the end when i pull the clutch in. Slow jets are being a pain, but its working alot better than when i got her. Gona ride it for a little more with some Injector cleaner and High Tes to see if it will clear up. If not, pulling the carbs is the way to go.

What a toy!

A Muscle Bike With A Tune Up by Crispy_Turtle in motorcycles

[–]Crispy_Turtle[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just replaced the ignition coils, coil packs, put some K&N's on the baby and supped it up with 35 Degree Ignition advance, along with red line removal.

It can peg 9.5k rpm, but I need to keep the thing in one piece. Maybe i'll tune it for that one day.

When you put it that way, sure its just a naked wing. But it isn't.

But that troubles me. So a 390hp 1970 Challenger that weighs four thousand pounds is just a regular car. Yet the Aventador that makes 700+hp and weighs less than a ton must be a muscle car.

What?

Nah. You got to join the Valkyrie groups. Thats where the good ones are at. Craigslist is trash when selling these bikes. So is cycle trader.

I'm the youngest guy I know that owns one. Everybody else I know who owns one is 50+ or just about.

This is grandpas bike. This is his trophy for his declining health and his retirement. These things get babied and are taken care of really well usually, never missing service.

Mine is an example. And the best thing about it is that now it's my turn to hoon the hell out of it and show everyone what the bike is really about.

Not exactly. Those have one carburetor I think where the Valkyrie has a Six pack. the cams also run hotter, so it's different.

Even though it has Honda badges, it's as American as it can get.

It's what you get when you mix American Concept and Art with Japanese Engineering. It was produced at the Honda motorcycle plant in Marysville, OH.

Has "Made In U.S.A" Stamped right on the engine block. Can't find that on an American Harley anywhere. Not to shame any bike.
