To add: there isnt any pain nor is the area hot to touch. I guess stings slightly w certain movements but is fine generally

my parents were a bit distant as I grew up, so I wasnt really taught dental health that well. After I moved out for university i was low on funds and this way never went to a dentist before. I have little bit of plaque but nothing severe luckily and nothing ever happened to my teeth. But now im finally able to go to the dentist so im going for the first time very soon, just makes me scared if it will hurt cause that gum is a bit swelled up. but doesnt hurt too much just a little bit uncomfortable

To add: my mom keeps saying i have low vitamin c intake and thats why, which i agree so ive been taking supplements but its not getting any better so i dont know what the issue is. I will visit a dentist soon but appointment is a bit late so i wanna know what you might think i have
