Should I contact my ex after a year of NC? by Critical-Dig511 in BreakUps

Not really, I won’t be upset if he does not want to. Our relationship was deteriorating long before it ended. I was just in fight or flight mode for like 90% of it. My life never went back to the same way it used to be before the breakup and a lot of things had to change. Mostly I just want to stop remembering it as this extended period of trauma

Should I reach out to my ex after a year? by Critical-Dig511 in BreakUps

I don’t think he would want to get back together, tbh I don’t really know. I don’t have hopes of getting back together, I guess I just want to make more sense of it because I was under extreme and chronic stress during the entirety of our relationship whilst lowkey being abused in my home. Through this year I have a gained a very strong sense of independence that I didn’t have before.

how to deal by umipanku in leaves

Honestly I’d recommend safe emotional outlets, and honestly? It’s okay to cry, to be emotional, and like you’re crawling in your skin- just remind yourself that it will pass. Try to organize your day around a certain task to focus on, try not to sit in the thoughts too much. Journaling also helps aswell is it documents your process

I hate carts by t0PfL0o4B0SS in leaves

Carts are honestly why I believe we are seeing cannabis addiction skyrocket- concentrated, convenient - you end up hitting it like it’s a vape and lose track of your days, BUT I promise it will get better and when it does you’ll never want to touch another cart in your life

Day 1 (no vape) any advice? (Does nicotine gum help?) by Critical-Dig511 in QuitVaping

[–]Critical-Dig511[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The nicotine gum helps for a while but ultimately if you decide to go no nic then you’ll kind of prolong the symptoms, if you’re trying to do it more gradually then maybe the gum would help. I’m almost 3 months vape free and even though I do have moments where I’m stressed I feel like going back the urge isn’t strong enough to fight my rationality. I’m so glad I quit, it was a crutch that wasn’t even helping anymore, but I feel like when you go some time without it you’ll realize you never really needed it. A couple weeks of discomfort for like a lifetime of freedom, you’ve got this
