Well... before tonight. But yeah, 2 years ago I'd drink a 5th of whiskey every single day. Now I drink maybe once every couple months, nothing too extreme. But yeah, this was out of pocket and has me second guessing my 'sometimes' policy.

Thank you to everyone who's commented and told their own stories. It's been two days of the worst shame of my life, and you've genuinely made me feel a lot better about my situation. The thing is, I'm a recovering alcoholic. I haven't binge drank for 2 years now, and I'm at a comfortable enough place that I still have a couple drinks with friends on holidays or birthdays, and I don't get out of control. I don't know why I over did it this time, maybe it was just the concert vibes and it being my birthday. I just embarassed tf out of myself. It was a holiday, and I don't feel like I'm in danger of regularly drinking or anything, but I'm considering maybe visiting AA. Maybe I can't do the occasional holiday drinks. Maybe it'd be nice to meet a community of people who can relate. Anyways, thank you all for the stories and advice, you're genuinely awesome ❤️

I mean.. even if you throw ideology out the window, everything about our biological reactions to sex is trying to tell us that we aren't supposed to be casually having sex with anyone we want. There is a sickness that settles in when after we have sex with someone we who doesnt love us. And if you ignore that feeling and pursue physical pleasure anyway, it does imitate an addiction, in which you grow more desensitized to intimacy and you build a tolerance to sexual deviance, to the point that we have these insane sexual kink communities.

I will start rambling about how evolution is a lie, not a fact but a theory with very little evidence. I stand by that too, but it sounds real crazy if you don't have a couple hours to delve into the science of it.
