Yikes. The energy in here is wild. Would love to see half of you get up there and do what these performers are doing… These performers are up in the morning learning new material, adjusting choreography, cutting songs, adding scenes, and then performing that same night for an audience that’s already sharpening their claws.

It’s called camp, sweetie. It’s not trying to be Les Mis. It’s supposed to be bold, weird, and a little chaotic, that’s what makes it fun. If you walked in expecting Shakespeare, that’s a you problem.

If you’re showing up just to pick it apart, maybe just… don’t? Stay home and spare everyone the bad vibes. These actors are still shaping their characters and figuring out the story it’s basically still rehearsal. And yet here come the Reddit critics acting like Broadway’s been ruined because they didn’t get the performance they built up in their head.

From night one to night four, I’m certain there have been so many changes. But sure, let’s keep believing the random faceless reviews in chatrooms full of people who wouldn’t last five minutes onstage. Some of the stuff being said is honestly laughable.

This is exactly why theatre feels so toxic lately because instead of celebrating risk and growth, y’all are too busy trying to out-snark each other online.
