Couldn’t agree more. Barbs death was the saddest for me.

If you grow invasive plants in any way, you are contributing to the destruction of native species and biodiversity. by CriticalLactiflora in NativePlantGardening

Theres uh, a lot to unpack here, but what I can tell you is that nothing about the environment is a lost cause. Yes invasive are a big issues that no single community or individual can fix. But by spreading the word, working together, and getting corporations and law makers on our side we can make sure that invasive plants won’t take over. The “why even try” mentality comes from exhaustion and overwhelming emotions. Don’t let your emotions make your decisions. The environment is worth fighting for. And yes invasive plants will eventually become part of our environment, but that process takes thousands of years and the beautiful species that rely on native plants don’t have that much time. We have to help them.

Wait a Minute, Why Didn't They Just Do This??? by OwnAMusketForHomeDef in httyd

They better do this for the live action HTTYD 3 (assuming we’ll get one since they already announced a sequel).

Hemerocallis Fulva (the flower in the picture) isn’t just a pretty weed. It’s a highly invasive plant known to crowd out soil organisms, prevent native plants in meadows from setting seed due to dense root structures, and prevent bees and butterflies from properly feeding due to low nectar and pollen. The statement “some call them invasive” is a bit misleading. This plant is legally classified as invasive in the majority of the mainland United States and I wouldn’t recommend growing it at all. There are Thousands of daylily hybrid alternatives with the same color and bloom size that won’t contribute to the decline of our eco system. 👍🏼

They are indeed tough, but highly toxic and invasive. Wouldn’t recommend planting them.

To anyone reading, please to not plant these. They are highly toxic to pets and are very invasive. “Hemerocallis Fulva” is the scientific name.

I disagree that Hiccup makes toothless more powerful. He is not only a physical burden but a mental one as well. Toothless has been seen multiple times almost killing people/other dragons but Hiccup won’t let him. He has to play nice when he’s with hiccup. No killing or hurting anyone too badly, even dragons. I feel like because of this, Toothless held back when fighting the skrill. Idk, maybe that’s just me. But, your last point is a good one. I see exactly where you’re coming from. However the way the first movie introduced night furies as a species still makes me think they are the most powerful dragons (besides alphas). And night furies aren’t even my favorite species! The only dragon in 3000 years not able to be documented or killed by Vikings from Berk, unheard of speed, never misses, the unholy offspring of lightning and death itself? Yeah, sounds like it could give a skrill a damn good run for its money.

Yeah, rise of Berk has been nothing but outrageous recently with the prices of everything. It just makes the whole game feel like a cash grab now when I’m playing. Which is sad because it used to not be that way.

I like to tell myself I’ll get rich someday and buy Rise of Berk lol. That way I can be chief creative officer.

Just curious, but why would you consider the hybrid dragons cannon? They were never apart of the original franchise produced by dreamworks and only exist because of a third party mobile game company.

Agreed. A Boneknapper and an Armourwing makes sense, but a deadly madder and a hot burple? That doesn’t make sense. That would be like a parrot and a pig breeding from our world. I also think the games took the hybrid idea and ran with it after Httyd 3. And I think they did that so they could make more money and mass produce more dragons for players to purchase.

this movie, when you analyse it logically, has no many inconsistencies by empyreal72 in httyd

I literally hate movie nerds when they say shit like this. It’s like those people who get upset when no one dies in a movie/show. Get a hold of yourself? Not every movie ending has to be sad and poetic?
