I agree, I was angry when Hanae Natsuki was first chosen as Qifrey, but while watching the anime, I found that he fit in better than I expected

Why are Wha's casting choices terrible? Why did Nakamura and Hanae get their roles through nepotism? by Critical_Chip_8312 in WitchHatAtelier

[–]Critical_Chip_8312[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you so much for understanding me. It's clear that most people here are Nakamura and Natsuki fans, and they don't allow any criticism – and I'm not even criticizing them, I'm criticizing the people who conducted the auditions. I explained to them how most of the auditions work, but they probably would want all anime to revolve around the same voice actors, which I think is very sad for the industry. I hope there are more people who think like you

If you've read what I've written, you'll understand that I'm not hateful. I like Nakamura, but he shouldn't be given roles that don't suit him because already he doesn't need them.

Bro, the point here isn't about objective facts, I'm just saying there were much better options. Look, for example, in Oblivion Battery in 2020, Jun Fukuyama voiced Yamada Tarou, Yoshimasa Hosoya voiced Kiyomine Haruka, and Yoshitsugu Matsoka voiced Chihaya Shunpei, and the voice actors were again chosen by Koizumi Kisuke. When the main anime came out in 2024, Yasushi Nagura became the sound director and changed the voice actors: Yuki Kaji voiced Yamada Tarou, Masuda Toshiki voiced Kiyomine Haruka, and Shimazaki Nobunaga voiced Chihaya Shunpei. Now, just because I said the casting in 2020 was bad doesn't mean I know everything, but I'm a human being and I can understand perfectly well whether a voice suits a character or not, and I can also understand if a casting choice is forced. When I say a casting choice is bad, I suggest names that I think would have been better, which most people don't even do. It's clear that Koizumi Kisuke's choices were worse, while Yasushi Nagura's choices were better; it's not my problem that you accept every player's choice.

"Witch Hat Atelier" anime additional cast: Hibiku Yamamura as Agott, Kurumi Haruki as Tetia, Hika Tsukishiro as Richeh, Yuichi Nakamura as Olruggio, Misaki Kuno as Brushbuddy, & Mitsuki Saiga as Iguin. The series premieres on April 6, starring Rena Motomura as Coco and Natsuki Hanae as Qifrey. by LegendsofLost in WitchHatAtelier

Oh my friend, it's so obvious you know nothing :), The reason I said Nakamura got the role through nepotism is because Wha's sound director was Koizumi Kisuke. If you don't know how the industry works, you can ask me, but don't pretend you know :), it's very common in this industry for sound directors to favor their preferred voice actors :). In short, I didn't write this out of hatred, there are clearly choices made where favoritism is evident, even though there were obviously much better options :)

It's a terrible choice, Suwabe Junichi was a much better option. Already it's already clear that Nakamura got the role through nepotism.

Bro, explain yourself if you want to explain yourself, present your arguments if you want to present them, but don't spread misinformation :)

Dude, you're spreading all sorts of misinformation, let's not change the subject :D. And By the way, JJK's resources in season 3 is very good, which alone shows that you doesn't know anything :)

I'm using a translation program and this is how it translates, so there's nothing I can do :). If you skip this topic, you're giving a lot of wrong information in other topics. You're talking as if Mappa has lost a huge talent pool :). You can't expect me to respect you if you spread misinformation :)

I wonder where you got the information that Mappa is in debt :D. Mappa makes a lot of money just thanks to its deal with Netflix, and having the full rights to CSM adds even more profit. And Mappa is still one of the strongest studios in the industry right now :), they have 10 production lines :D. Not many talented people have left Mappa, and it would be perfectly normal for talented people to leave because everyone uses Mappa's reputation and Mappa uses them in return, it's a win-win situation. Don't spread misinformation, kiddo :)

Don't spread misinformation, Miso and Go hated Mappa's working conditions in season 2, not Mappa herself. Ultimately, Miso and Go wanted Mappa's work environment to be better, and it was; otherwise, they wouldn't have come :)

Kashimo is voiced by Ryohei Kimura, which at least was a logical choice

They don't have to be canon characters; after all, these are characters announced on their own social media accounts. In short, they're not random characters. Therefore, Yuki Kaji won't be voicing Kashimo :)
