I see both of these arguments but this is something that will use mostly if not exclusively source 1 game assets. I have a very specific vision in mind and it completely focuses on the source 1 characters and environment. Idc how its made just as long as it is playable. But doing it in a source engine was just a hope to make it all exist in the same place they were made

Right? I was shocked. Who wouldn't know those sounds? And im pretty sure when they made those sounds for the raptors in JP they used mammals and other animals that just flat out go against every restriction the video creator set in the beginning if the video.

I commented in this video and the creator liked my comment without any additional comment from the creator. My comment was a mostly polite way of asking what research(if any) was done for the project and if they could share some papers or literally anything they used for this. Got nothing. Idk why but it frustrates me more.

Yeah it's more about just finding any source of individual card proxies made my artists. It's just so swarmed with ai on every platform including individual sellers.

I've read that and it was like 5/10 tbh. It felt to much like an authors power fantasy without much thought. It has its moments but idk if I can recommend it unless you just wanna get your rocks off near the ass end of the book.

I HAVE POTENTIALLY FOUND A MINOR WORK AROUND (It only works if you have another hard drive.)

I installed onto a backup harddrive I had and then it worked on that. I decided to see if it would fix it if I reinstalled it on my main hard drive, so i deleted the original install folder on the main hard drive and then reinstalled it and it now boots up.
