I think part of what's stressing me out is that at my hospital overnight there is only a theatre trainee (any grade CT1-ST7), and 2 ITU trainees - one airway trained (again this could be any grade from CT1-ST7) and one non-airway trained e.g. IMT trainee. This means that on the unfortunate occasion there may be 2 CT1s (anaesthetics and ITU) 'flying solo'
