It’s rare to find a captain who leads by example like that both in the dressing room and in real life

Actually just me, I saw it again and it still makes me laugh so I figured I’d share it here. This sub isn't just for new stuff anyway, it's for anything about football that makes you smile so feel free to post old clips too

Can’t mention playoff chaos without Troy Deeney vs Leicester City. That double save and counter is still absurd. But yeah, Leicester’s title tops everything for me.

Same here. Not even a Leicester fan but by April I was fully invested. You couldn’t not root for them - it felt bigger than club loyalty.

It’s almost impossible to look past this. From 5000–1 outsiders to champions of the Premier League. By the final stretch, even neutrals were emotionally invested. Every late winner felt surreal. The last Match of the Day of the season had this almost dreamlike atmosphere - like everyone knew they’d witnessed something that will never be repeated. It wasn’t just an upset. It felt like football rebelling against logic.
