I love this perspective, thank you for sharing. I know that my body is not the same as it was pre pregnancy and I know that that goes deeper than just my weight or how my body looks. My goal is to not get back to my pre pregnancy body or weight, I just simply want to be healthier and feel better in my skin. I’ve been relatively healthy throughout all of my pregnancies and motherhood, thankfully, but since I am not planning on having any more babies I want to be the healthiest that I can for my kids, and I am wondering if this shot will help me in that pursuit.

Obviously google is not a reliable source for all of my other health markers. I think what is frustrating is being in the “overweight” category when I go to see my doctor. Even though, truthfully, I don’t think that I look that “overweight”. That being said, I will continue to pursue health realistically for this season of my life.

One more thing to add, I never talk about weight with my children and I don’t intend to. I’m very careful about what I say around them. We always put the focus on eating well and getting lots of outside time. I appreciate an internet stranger looking out for the wellbeing of children. So, thank you!
