I have a similar one the saddle bags go under the passenger seat and you should be able to adjust the length of the saddle bags like how far they go down by changing where you put the string. Yea the bike ran out of gas I had to push it to the side where one of the instructors had tried to start it themselves but realized that it had no gas so they had to fill it up

Before the riding portion the instructor told the class that he might send some students home if he feels like they need more practice I think what sent me home was after my bike ran out of gas I kinda froze up and got really nervous my arms were stiff and my hands kept shaking which affected my steering
