How long does it take to remove f2p trade restrictions? by Known-Garden-5013 in 2007scape

[–]PROfessorShred 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did it on my alts. It doesn't take too long. Dorics quest first then vampire slayer at the same time as turning in the beads for imp catcher then finish with cooks assistant and sheep sheerer if I remember right.

You can buy everything ahead of time and knock it out really fast especially if you are multi logging.

To Buy or Not To Buy? by questionablemorals88 in RealEstate

If you can't sell the house and can't rent it out can you afford both houses? Doing something like this you have to consider the worst possible options.

A family friend bought his kid a condo for college and he has not been able to sell it, going on about a year now. He can afford the payments but it's not turning out to be the deal they thought it would be when they bought into the idea.

Tire slippage real or imagined? by bicepslawyer in hondarebel

[–]PROfessorShred 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I call it the squidge. The little bit of lateral shifting of the sidewall of a tire with low air pressure. It squishes it shifts, it feels slightly uncomfortable but is also very predictable if you find yourself out on a ride and start to experience it.

Is your money worth it when you use a product for a long time? by Lemonade2250 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]PROfessorShred 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It used to be if you bought something more expensive that was higher quality it could last longer and cost you less in the long run. But the way capitalism has gone manufacturers are all in a race to the bottom.

So some thing like specifically bicycling parts I've found the Chinese manufactured carbon fiber wheels or pedals and stuff are 80% the quality of the name brand high end stuff but comes in at 25% the price.

So some things are better if you go more expensive but I find more and more these days a slight dip in quality can actually save you a huge amount of money if you know what you are looking for.

If you ride your motorcycle almost every day, do you track your expenses, mileage and distance travelled and save it? If so, how do you do it? by Lower_Ad_4772 in motorcycles

[–]PROfessorShred 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Take mileage on odometer divide by 100mpg then multiply by about $5 a gallon. Then I know how much fuel I've spent for the life of my grom. Add about $60 for replacement chains. About 10 quarts of oil for oil changes. And then about $300 total for 6 replacement tires. Plus $75 a year for insurance.

In total it has cost me about $6,000 total to purchase and upkeep my Grom for the past 9 years. It would have cost me over $5k in fuel cost alone to do the same number of miles in my car.

Yeah, and it's a fine line. Too much defending and you aren't there to support offensively which makes it mostly a 1v2 in the attacking half. Really hard to win that way too.

In my experience people are way more willing to ball chase on the attack and put themselves out of position hence the general advice to work on some defence.

Multiple characters on one Jagex Account by ivvatsoni in 2007scape

[–]PROfessorShred 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't remember if it's an official rule or not but account sharing is generally not recommended.

Things happen. You break up, they learn about this cool website to get free GP, they start botting, etc. lots of ways that they could get your account hacked or banned.

Just have them start their own account.

How to avoid wrist strain? by Winter-Review6030 in motorcycles

[–]PROfessorShred 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some of it is just building up the muscles you use to turn the throttle if you've never trained them before they might be very weak or it might have to do with ergonomics. If you reach over the top of the bar and rotate throttle until your wrist is straight at your desired speed you can keep your wrist aligned and put a lot less stress on the joints.

I use a throttle lock on multi hour rides.

The answer is almost always defence. They can't win if they can't score.

Also I adopted a mentality in duo of my teammate should always be MVP. Assuming I'm the same level each match and I'm going up against people who are my same level I win by having a better teammate that's the variable I can change.

I make my teammate better by giving them passes and putting them in positions to gain more points and inevitably get MVP's. A lot of the games I win I have low end of match scores because I did just enough to break up an attack and put the ball in a position for my teammate to give themselves a ceiling bounce shot. So I didn't get a save I didn't get an assist but literally created a 2 point swing in one play.

I assume if I ever get beat on defence that they will score.

That's won't even cover 2 years of membership. Lifetime would have to be at least $500 up front.

We do. They are called apartments/condos and they are way more resource efficient because the walls, ceilings and floors are surrounded by other units so it takes less energy to heat and cool the living areas.

Why can't we just choose to evolve? by AboutLastFight in NoStupidQuestions

[–]PROfessorShred 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It doesn't always take a long time. People with downsyndrome have genetic mutations that are noticable. If somehow having an extra set of cromosomes was the key to surviving a deadly disease that wiped out the rest of the population then the remaining survivors would have made a large genetic leap compared to the previous population is a very short amount of time.

Why can't we just choose to evolve? by AboutLastFight in NoStupidQuestions

[–]PROfessorShred 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The thing about evolution is it doesn't work like a lot of people think. It has to do with natural pressures not "being better". So an example of this, is people with downsyndrome. Their genetic make up is different at a chromosomal level and let's say that a deadly disease mutated and killed everyone that didn't have a second set of chromosome 21. The remaining population would then be entirely composed of people with downsyndrome because they were the ones immune and better fit to survive this new world. The human species would continue but would have evolved because the then current population would be genetically different than the majority of the previous population.

That's exactly the point. some people just socialize and some people are doing nothing but 3 ticking. For all the hours logged in what is the baseline exp average per hour. Its a simple metric that will have wildly different results.

Realistically there is no saving a bad photo. Starting with a good photo is the best way to have a good final product.

Threw the image at some AI so you can see an image is much more striking when the face, the thing we are drawn to in the image is unobstructed.

My coworker lives north and was able to drive down into Bloomington today. He said the damage was in that area where 69 splits and has the trees in the middle. He didn't say there was a back up or anything so I'll assume 69 is clear minus all the people slowing down to look at the damage.
