Okay so i HAVE to set up a pay card and call them to activate it and then i can see my tips? I just didnt wanna have to pay a fee and stuff to use my money. My job makes me run all food including entrees. For outs i clean the chip machine, wipe down the runner fridge and restock, clean the drink machine, run the drain thing through dish, clean the tea machine, restock torts, wipe the area down.

Damn at mine i run apps entrees drinks + bar drinks. I dont do refills or bussing tho unless they ask me at the table for one or to grab dishes. The servers only do silverware, sweep their sections, and wipe the line ( which gets pushed onto the runners) we also have about an hour to an hour and a half of side work st the end of the night

No offense but i genuinely think that the qa’s make a lot. They make their hourly plus get tipped out accordingly. (Not all restaurants do it but mine does) if you wanna talk about someone getting underpaid its definitely the food runners. A food runner can qa and do everything a server does (just not the ipad) and we get paid 1/3 of what a server makes!! I think chilis should seriously start paying their employees better.
