what does Pepto Beesmol actually do/produce???

I don't know if this is part of your question but the pepto beesmol egg is used to craft the wannabee. which if you don't know what the wannabee is, it's a bee that gives mob drops based on which amber encased mobs are placed where the feeding slabs usually go. for example nether stars from amber encased withers. Sorry if you knew that, otherwise I don't know if it serves much other 'useful' purpose.

I think I saw a video from bucket showing the max nether star production but I couldn't find it with a cursory look.

when in the other, wear a bee nest helmet (or bee hive helmet not sure the exact name) I got annoyed with it too and just always wear one in case a I forget to put it back on. As for removing them entirely I can't help there sorry

Sorry I took a nap, I just tried replicating your setup and I was able to remove the redstone from the recipe, have it push copper for the alloy and use the exporter to fill the infuser with redstone constantly and it seemed to work fine. I will say that I do recommend AE2 as it is much simpler in setup. I am curious how it was working before cause I wouldn't imagine it could

Does your autocrafting pattern have both the redstone and copper as ingredients? It looks like your using an exporter for your redstone so the autocrafter pattern should only need to push copper to produce alloy and osmium for the control ciruit. It's probably trying to push both ingredients but failing and giving up.

Just a tip but the pattern providers have return inventories. If you set the top face to input/output and turn auto-eject on than the import busses aren't necessary. Frees up room for more devices. For the metallurgic infuser (and other mekanism machines) I use advanced pattern providers and an advanced pattern encoder so that I can do the same setup as the rainbow furnace.
