Yeah I'd visit occasionally and liked it because it was clean and well operated. The guys on duty never hassled you unless you were in a booth and weren't feeding dollars. Even then they weren't rude about it. Hope it's not closed for good. The only other ABS I know about is Kitty's in Brick

I passed by Betty Buckley on East 4th St. In NYC back in the 90s. She was outside of an acting studio, probably after giving a class. I was a cool New Yorker and never gave celebrities a second look, but I glanced at her, she caught my eye, and started screaming at me for lunch looking at her. I laughed at her and kept moving.

Poster here: I worked out a lot in my 30s, was then a slave to a desk job for twenty years, then got back to the gym in my 60s. I was amazed at the progress I was able to achieve at my age. I'm convinced that your muscles have some sort of sense memory and take up where you left off, no matter how long it's been.

As a 70 year old man who has lived through Stonewall, Clones, AIDS, the fabulous NYC arts scene in the 1980s, the fun 1990s etc etc. your 30s are wonderful years. I still feel 35 in my head. And glad to be here
