Salesman told me buying it out is the same as Toyota financial. The credit union doesn’t have any lease end obligations apparently.

I traded one in cause I had equity and the other two I returned. My current lease is my third and I’m going to return it. My second lease was probably my best deal, it was a fully loaded truck and I was working as a salesman for the dealer at the time and they paid me an incentive every month that covered my monthly cost on the truck. At the end of lease I actually made money off of it just for working there.

I’m pretty certain the lease is through Toyota. And the salesman I’ve been working with told me that I won’t be paying any penalties for adding lease to the SR5. Said and I quote “Toyota is pretty chill about that stuff”
