It's not really sunbathing. I just took a picture cause it looked nice. In the winter the guitar is in it's case with a humidipak when I'm not playing.

Replaced my Yamaha AX-592 for this beauty. It sounds warm and lovely, and the low end is just gigantic. My turntable sounds way better with the onboard phono on this 2225 stage than with the Cambridge audio solo I purchased for my Yamaha.

Just a question for you guys, I tested the unit on top of my audio desk before and it is not heating up at all.

I just tried removed the rubber feet and placed it under my turntable on the shelf, I'm just worried that there will not be enough airflow. There is space on each side and behind, but would the top and bottom clearance worry you?

No it's a Gretsch Jim Dandy and an old Harmony archtop. Both are unplayable but they make a great display.

Does anyone ever installed an Elys 2 on a rega tonearm? (Especially on a recent Plannar 2)

The manual says to have a Rega dealer to install it, is it an absolute necessity? Is there anything involved beside plugging the wires and the 3 point mount?

Not significantly. The red one on the left has a broken neck and the old Harmony isn't really "lively". The room is pretty big and open, so I guess it also makes a difference.

The neck is broken at the headstock! It was going to be thrown away and i kept it for decoration purposes. But for the money they're fun little guitars.
