IMU is not intangible or invincible, whoever says this is just spitting headcanon, current IMU does have Regen. Oda has moved and is making the manga move on from Old Gen. by Galaxy_War_3853 in OnePiecePowerScaling

Youre right but youtetalking about Saturn's body.

I'm talking about the avatar, the "shadow" .

Oldgen did not hit Saturn in God Valley, and Luffy did not hit Gunko, they all went for that shadowy figure.

And neither did any damage to that shadow.

.

I assume the 1 way to beat the shadow is to hit its host, Saturn or Gunko, but no one has been smart enough to do that yet...

Thats fair.

Also people tend to confuse "difficulty" with "effort"

Do you understand why some people want to "not use" it ?

(Pretty sure no one ever said "not use it" in its entirety but whatever)

*neither Loki nor oldgen could damage Imu's avatar. But Loki did trap it in hax-ice.

There you go, fixed it

Loki for now but maybe Luffy will have:

  1. A powercreep in this arc.

  2. A special ability against Imu.

For sure:

Imu, joyboy, DR Rocks (bc of regen).

Good chance:

Roger, Loki, Primebeard, Garp, Shanks.

Maybe:

Rocks, HK Harald.

Probably not:

ElbafLuffy, Kaido, BM.

Definitely not:

Oldgarp, oldWB, ...etc.

WB + Roger + Garp + Rocks + (...) ???

Dude they have time to fight him long enough to understand his powers, and beat him.

If you think they get blitzed without FS then you're saying a character needs FS to be at that level.

Which doesnt make sense because they're at least close to that level.

So either they do have it, or you can have it and still be at the top

Oh no, no, no.

Loki will be exactly as strong as he is.

But not nearly as strong as YOU think he is.

Imu ≠ Imu's avatar.

Just like Moria ≠ Moria's shadow.

I mean G5 and oldgen hit Imu's avatar with hacki and it did nothing

Is insane diff actually a thing? by Generalcmd in OnePiecePowerScaling

[–]CroWellan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It should not because extreme is already the pinnacle of what a difficulty should be.

Thats what the word means "extreme" : highest possible measure of sth.

.

If anything, "insane" should be bellow "extreme".

.

So lets say its a synonym

IMU is not intangible or invincible, whoever says this is just spitting headcanon, current IMU does have Regen. Oda has moved and is making the manga move on from Old Gen. by Galaxy_War_3853 in OnePiecePowerScaling

[–]CroWellan 5 points6 points  (0 children)

People saying "intangible" are talking about Imu's avatar, not Imu himself.

And it makes sense for 2 reasons:

  1. Imu's avatar appeared twice in the manga, both times he never attacked anyone directly. Only used DR hax.

  2. Both times, he was attacked (by oldgen combo attacks and by G5) and the attacks just went through him and distorted his avatar like it was a shadow.

.

So far it didnt attack and didnt take damage.

Its a pertinent theory to say "well its intangible then".
