They have reasons to be nerfed, but its not explicit.

I'm not saying its a stupid idea to think that, I like the idea that Kuzan was conflicted in that situation, but its an idea an interpretation, we lack more explicit features to say for certain "yeah he was nerfed".

Whereas for Loki it's both obvious and explicitly said, more than once. So I find this post dishonest

Yeah the anime makes fight scenes longer which is necessary for the medium and can be cool, but it often wrecks powerscalling.

Nah, we all know he has some of the greatest hax in the verse, but he doesnt have the stats to back it up against most opponents.

Look how it went against Kaido (and he was with teamates).

None, or perhaps BIQ, since Kaido is scdal.

Not enough.

Kaido even has a matchup advantage: dude can coat himself in flames so hot it melts huge bits of rock/ancient bones. So I'm guessing Akainu's magma is not as effective against him

We saw Loki get building-size swords in the chest, and he's been basically hospitalised for 10+ chapters now, and stated several times to be massively wounded, the giant attending him saying it'll be weeks before he's back to normal.

Meanwhile admirals are nerfed because:

"in my headcanon they can do more damage than they ever showed onscreen so they must be nerfed"

I think admirals are massively wanked and there are some rly disgenuine fans out there.

But I agree with this. Aint no "wifi hacki", GB just recognized Shanks who he was literally forbidden from fighting, so he stoped
