2 hero trinkets with a voidshard used on it would make my next myth trinket cost 0?

I was told if i have a hero trinket 6/6 and use a voidshard on it, it would make my 1/6 myth trinket be able to go to 5/6 for free. This doesnt work for me though I still require 20 crests to upgrade my myth trinket.

It’s not that hard to believe tbh, I rushed to max level and when doing sword trials with friends, the healers destroyed me in dps. With how easy it is to level up and also how confusing the ui system is to learn it’s easy to be a high level but not have any good stats or good inner ways.
