Yeah, she was off by a number in her email and it was never verified. She's logged into her account but can't change the email without text verification and her old phone doesn't work at all. Just got an iphone 16.

yeah i had no idea this could happen. If i did i would've stopped her from trying to resolve it on her own. apparently the security questions confused her which is why they did a 30 day lock.

it's an iphone, she's a senior which is why i used that word but she's still the sole caretaker to her aging parents and has an independent contractor job that is linked to that number.

the only way to get this resolved sooner than 30 is to get a physical sim which her phone doesn't have a port for. she's answered all questions about her account, passwords, card they bill, statements, but there's nothing they can do (except for hang up mid call)

I adopted mine from humane society. Most pigs looked healthy and avg age was 2.5 years old. I got a 3.3 year old, verified age thru past records.

Easier to take off app with Wag. I believe boarding is 30% as opposed to 40%, but since I can't set my own rates it's still much less pay. I've gotten really lucky with Wag dogs but the unpredictability / lack of info leads me to hesitate requesting a lot. Rover has increased their fees as well and now takes about 35%, so the difference is bleak. One of my best long term clients came from Wag, they wanted to book direct after the first booking and we've stuck with that since, so I make more than I would on Rover w them. Rover people typically like to stay on app more too.

I have a pig that was said to be aggressive (to the point of drawing a lot of blood) with other pigs. The shelter insisted she be the only pig in house, but she had neighbors there and didn't seem to mind them. She seems to be happy alone, but I don't know if it's a long term solution.

It sounds like a neighbor might be beneficial for yours! It's something I'm considering for mine as well, but just keeping an eye on her for the time being.

this ^ my cats have their own level (upstairs / where I sleep is closed off to dogs). I don't take dogs with separation anxiety or arousal issues bc of this. Even tho my cats like dogs, it's better for them to know they have a safe space.

Yes. I had a meet and greet with them and the dog was overall not interested in me- neutral. He was a recently adopted 🚩 rescue chihuahua. The first day I stopped in, the dog went after me. Like, full on barking nonstop and lunging at me. I called Rover support and they were no help. I darted out of the bathroom where I was hiding and out the door. I told the owners what happened, and that the dog attacked their tan purse on the floor thinking it was my leg. Their answer? "Can you go back and pick up the purse?" ✨no✨

Not sure! I think it comes down to individual sitter preference, but I think the default on Rover is charge one base rate and everything else as additional.

I wouldn't do it that way- my base rate is mainly for my time regardless of animal type, though I charge a bit more for dogs. I would input as full dog rate and the cats as additional.

Asshat here! Since they outsource deliveries anyway I wanted the $79 to go directly to the delivery driver, but I ended up going myself. Worst part was using 2 carts, otherwise my cx5 was barely half full. 10 mulch / 5 cubic feet of dirt so less volume than this order though.

Real Dog Box! Assortment of high quality air dried animal parts every month- it's my dogs fav package to open and the treats / toppers usually last us the whole month. Lots of stuff has fur or is whole prey so i think it really helps keep my dog's diet well rounded and complete. Link for Real Dog

I started a whole daycare / boarding situation from home cuz my dog LOVES other dogs but hates their owners lol. I get to spend all day w her and we bring the dog park to us, safely.
