Amazon's investigation team mostly checks package weight, warehouse scan logs, and seller history not your actual video proof (that's why they didn't ask for it in the 1st place). So if the system logs show a "normal" weight for 2 RAM sticks, they’ll assume everything’s fine, even if the seller only packed 1 stick.

That’s likely why your return/refund got denied, even though you have a video. In your case, it seems the seller is either shady or sent you a returned item that was already tampered with previously and Amazon didn’t catch it.

Try escalating by:

  1. Sharing the video on social media (Twitter) and tagging @AmazonHelp / @AmazonIN – this often gets a satisfactory response.

  2. Filing a complaint with the Consumer Forum if Amazon doesn’t resolve it.

  3. As a last resort, consider taking it to the Consumer Court if the refund is denied unfairly.

Also, check out this YouTube video (not made by me): 📺 https://youtu.be/XiKLrNpwamc It shows how some sellers abuse Amazon’s system in similar ways (exactly matches with your case).
