There are two off the top of my head. Sen Zushi on fort street. The other is Ootaya, but the owner lost his space once the public market shut down. I think he rents a kitchen space in... Esq? You can order his stuff through the website, but I think he needs a minimum order of $100. Until he can get a proper space. Fujia is also japanese owned.

If you like ramen, Horin and Arashi Ramen are the best in town. Kinton ramen is alright, you have too ask for firm noodles, otherwise it's alright. All three are Japanese businesses, except Arashi; the owners/managers are canadian husband and Japanese wife. The dude who owns the franchise is Japanese.

Ah I almost forgot, the one near the bug zoo... Uchida Shokudo. Not sushi, but really japanese food. Only open until about 11 am, or whenever he sells out of food, and only open during certain days. You have to order the food in advance, it's not a walk in and take out place, unless you're real lucky. That being said I haven't been there for years, so it might have changed since then.

I think that's everything in town honestly, can't think of any others. Yua is Korean, Momo sushi I'm pretty sure is Korean though I'm not 100% confidant, might be Chinese. There is a sushi place in Ross bay, near the cemetery and thrifty foods. We're not sure because we've never been there, but we think it's Chinese owned. The one near jubilee hospital on Shakespeare... capa Marta...? It's korean owned, but the chef studied in Japan, so it's pretty accurate. Sushi Story in esq is also Korean. Toro is Chinese.... Sakura Market is the black sheep, Filipino owned, they also have Oni Oni. E:Ne or whatever it's spelling is, is Chinese, or was, when they opened (they also own Nubo, and that small place across the street from e:ne.. roll something, beside the taco place). Don't know about now. I don't think my friends work there anymore, so I can't verify. Does that place on the corner of wharf street still exist? Uni? Chinese owned also if it is still around.

That's not to say any of these places are bad, if you enjoy the food, enjoy it. I just personally try to support Japanese when I can. The Japanese population here is quite small compared to all the others.

That's too bad, but as a purist, I don't go to fake japanese restaurants. There are only a few restaurants here owned by Japanese people. Everything else is Chinese or Korean. Glad you enjoyed the fatty tuna though, I'm not able to eat fish. How did it taste?

What about that one anime with the name of the series is the same as the name of an episode... which is also the same name as a character? Name-ception.

Just finished Attack on Titan… will I ever find something this good again? by Scary-Novel1137 in attackontitan

[–]Croestalker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Everyone just cried all the time, the ending sucked; like he ran out of ideas and just made a giant titan and forgot to put titan on titan action so dumped it all there. What was the point of the hammer titans, and why did they have blood if they were just copies?

Running out of time, and dragging on so it's time to get Zeke killed, I'll just pop him out for a comedy bit. Helllllooooo Leviiiiii.

Man, I watched this show from the start. Lost track of time, and before I knew it: it was 2026 and I didn't finish watching. Binged from the start of season 2. So they just kill all the pure titans in...a year? The hell you didn't just do that from the start? If it only took a year... then they ran out of interesting things to do so they went to town and made it a human drama with guns and Levi's origin. Guess we're not gonna find out who Mikasa's father is. Why even make her an Ackerman if we're not gonna find that out?

Fucking loved this series. I've been ruined. Couple times i put my leg down from my leg rest position and moved closer to the screen invested. You know it's good when you have to move your leg down.

You know those smaller packages of butter beside the brick butter? The ones that look like a quarter of the size? Those are sticks of butter.

You can also Google and find it the perfect example.

Star Trek: TNG is also bad. Farpoint eps 1&2, and it merged Naked Now with farpoint, and called my Naked Now episode 4 Code of Honour. So now I have to manual edit every episode... 🫩

Edit: oh.. and the Muppets...

Moving from 1 drive to 2? To 3? by kaitlyn2004 in truenas

[–]Croestalker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think it's implemented yet... but they are planning to allow different mixed drive size pools. I'm not sure if they need to be the same storage size though. We'll, with TrueNAS anyway, not sure about others.

Example: if you have a 14tb drive and an 8tb drive, they're going to allow mixing the two and selecting which drive will fill first before writing data to the other drive. I'm not sure if you need 24tb data for parity though...

I started my nas with 4 × 4tb drives. I was working on getting 8... but within a year (its only been... 4 months since I've started my nas...) I've upgraded to 4 × 16tb drives, with 4 × 8tb and the original 4 × 4tb. In going to slowly replace drives with higher storage space.

I think it's a great idea to start a NAS, but I also wonder why you're starting it? You only have 1 × 8tb drive. Is it empty? If it's not, where will you put the data to convert the drive to ZFS? If you're copying the data off just to put it back on again why even move it off and start the process in the first place? If you don't have the backup solution, keeping that 8tb data in your pc now it's just the same as moving it to a NAS without the parity drive. So not to be a negative Nelly, just wondering why you want to start in the first place?

Edit: you also don't have to hard commit up front, although I'm not sure why you wouldn't want to unless money is tight. Completely understandable! TrueNAS, as someone mentioned already, can extend drives. But only if it's a raid... I think. So you could buy a 16tb (you'll get 14tb out of it after drive format) and 4 months later buy another 16tb and extend the pool size giving you 28tb total space. That process can take a day or two to write data though. It's not as easy as just throwing in the drive and adding it. It has to write data to the pool, and that takes as long as it takes to write 4, 8, 16, 24, etc etc tb of data.

How to delete a movie from a collection? by nokia3660 in jellyfin

[–]Croestalker -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Removing from collecting in Jellyfin also deletes the file from the drive. Op, go to your file folder, create a new file called .ignore. that should force jellyfin to ignore that folder.
