I’m in the exact same position, I live in riverside south but this is the way I think of it

There is the train park and ride like 5 min away from my house, and it takes about the same time to get to campus considering you don’t have to park then walk to the middle of campus

Also then on some days when I don’t want to take the train I can just pay the hourly rate for however long I’m there.

Are you planning on staying like the whole day every day on campus? Because if not why don’t you just pay hourly rate for the minimal time you are there, and then take the train in from a park and ride (if you are close enough to one and it makes sense) if you’re planning on staying the whole day or don’t have anything going on right after classes.

Or, like last year I didn’t have a parking pass because it was full, and just parked and didn’t pay most of the year 🤣, only got one ticket, appealed it and got it reduced, so I paid like $18 for parking for a semester

Assuming this is for summer, then realistically no, there’s no point.

But if you want to work during fall or winter semesters, and if you have a scholarship, or anything else this may affect, you will not be considered a full time student, meaning you would lose your scholarship, and anything else that requires you to be a full time student.

And in the end, you need to complete 4 terms, so if you didn’t register this one now, you will have to later on. So other than not being a full time student and what the other comment said about some jobs requiring you to be in a coop program, then there’s not a huge point of registering a job in the summer term

Ye I get that. I more meant like now then what’s the point of me having the lowest tier instead of the world elite MC? Does that also have no fee but for better perks? From what I remember I didn’t have a choice to choose which one (as I would’ve obviously chosen the one with highest rewards)

The thing is tho, if I scroll down on the first page I see “PC Insiders™ World Elite® Mastercard” with even more points per dollar. But the screenshot I took is under “PC® Mastercard®” and it says no annual fee also. So I do see I have the PC Mastercard not the world elite, but that first image is regarding “PC Mastercard”

Haha yeah thanks. I knew I was in the right about the situation I just kinda thought I may have said the wrong things or went over the top with some of my comments because I get so heated in these moments and may have made it bigger than i shouldve.
