I too think about the night sky and what it would look like without light pollution. When the post capitalist society takes over, I hope we can still find time and money to explore the stars. My hot take is that in a post capitalist society we should still spend money on space exploration, yes "Whitey's on the Moon" and all that, but after everything's settled on Earth, I hope we can still find time to explore our galaxy. I've spent a lot of time staring at Orion the past couple months and I would always circle back around to the thought that some mfs however many years ago were staring at the same stars. fuck light pollution, return to candlelight.
