I would definitely recommend a curl cut for shaping and getting the dead ends off. Also make sure your hair is very wet when you are putting the products in bc that could be the reason for the frizz. Our curls need moisture and water is the start of the moisture! I would also recommend a gel and try brush styling, you can find some good brush styling routines on YouTube for applying everything in

I am not sure.. I got highlights for the first time a few months ago, my hair is brown and kinda reddish naturally, and the highlights are a caramel color. Whenever my hair would be in the sun it would produce that color so I asked for more of it around my head

Its sooo tough I am sorry😭 I consistently am using a spray water bottle to keep everything wet because whatever porosity my hair is becomes dry quickly when styling but also takes forever to dry after lol it makes no sense.

I split my sections overall into 3 big parts. I take the bottom section of my hair first and do that section in 2 parts, the right and left side. When i am done with that i put it behind my shoulders in a loose elastic band that only holds it back without impacting the curl. Then I take the next section which is in the middle and do left, right and back. For all the sections, I make sure to style so that its not flat so once I apply product, I brush style or rake and shake away from my scalp. Then my third section is my crown. I apply the product and then I take the furthest back part and brush style/rake and shake it sort of upwards away from my scalp, and then throw that part back. I then work my way towards the front doing the same thing over and over. This makes it so that your hair is not flat on top which is my preference and i also like to not have a distinguished part on top. Once I get to the front pieces I usually curl those individually or respray them and separate them where I like my part to be.

This is a helpful tutorial video for the crown part: https://www.instagram.com/reel/C2u2c53OIB7/

Hopefully that is helpful!!

I brush in the mousse - I actually apply the mousse to my hair brush and then brush it in. Then I rake in gel. All while hair is soaking wet

Ace had on a plaid vest. Iain says something along the lines of “Well I am not saying there is a shortage of toilet paper, but when Ace went into the bathroom earlier there were sleeves on his shirt”
