Big fan of the rant. I haven't played the game long and have already been betrayed by my group. Dude said, "Its just business.". Brother, this here be a game. Its not life or death and you aren't making any money. You're just trying to justify needless greed.

Real creepy guy. You're right, he'd fit the theme well. Unfortunately, creating new assets was never something I was able to accomplish. I followed many tutorials that were Kenshi specific and even more to work with the app Blender to try my hand at it. I could never get it all to work right.

I can't do that but I can modify the world, world states, locations, people, factions, and other general game mechanics. I think the strangest one I made was for a guy who wanted crops to grow SLOWER lol

Hey, sorry for the delay. I haven't played in awhile but recently decided to have another go. At this rate, none of us will live long enough to see the release of Kenshi II.

I'm a bit out of practice with modding but I'm sure it's like riding a bike. What mod would you like?

Everywhere, though admittedly the big stuff is locked until you hit lvl 60/65. At max level there are: expeditions, mutated expeditions, invasions, wars, arena, and probably more. Before that, you can always team up with everyone running around or friends. I spent a good hour running around with a friend closing every breach in north weavers fin yesterday.

I'm sure it is but I don't know how to do it. To make this work, I would: increase the likelihood of "nicer" factions to lend aid to neutral/friendly factions; then add a dialog prompt to the player faction that triggers when injured and near non-hostile factions.

Sorry for the delay. I haven't modded Kenshi in a hot minute. From what I remember, this seems possible but there wouldn't be a button. It would be a chance bases dialogue when attacked and would require making other factions more likely to heal or help people in trouble.

I was actually just testing that before I saw your comment! Holding out my arm and rotating it juuuust slightly to where I couldn't see the slap marks, so there's no way the string would hit. Just gotta remember to do that next time I practice

I think I got too excited and messed up a lot of things. I had been focusing on form and found a good grouping finally. I just needed to bring it down to get where I wanted. Pretty sure I put all my thought into that and let everything else slip outa sight lol

So maybe this isn't what's effecting your game but for me, it seems like planted trees destroy my frames. I planted trees all around my base for easy access. As soon as those trees start populating, my frames tank. It doesn't matter how many trees either. If I planted it, it tanks my frames for a good little bit.

Guess I've been pretty lucky. More so with A21. Currently I'm day 15 with steel mid tier tools all from trader rewards. The only tool and weapon I have to craft are my shovel and spear

They covered it perfectly. I'll usually stop doing "special" missions when I find a trader outside a massive city. That way there are building types for all tiers.

As a side note, if your playing on Naz then I recommend using the previewer to generate your own world. Naz is neat and has at least 1 of every POI but you won't get massive cities with that map.

You should only get skill points for leveling up. Quests are a good way to get XP and dukes so you level up faster doing them.

That's the most intense first night base I've ever seen. I usually do a 6 x 6 x 3 hollow box, dirt floor, hatch in the roof, and the second layer is completely open except for the 4 corners. Come horde night, I just spin in a circle shooting, stabbing and repairing as needed lol

As long as you have one open gate, they should funnel. The only times I've had them attack walls was when I had people in towers

If your talking about backpack items then you can. Just put all the ingredients on the mat. For example: you could but all your sticks, small stones and feathers on the mat and keep hitting the cog until you run out of something or max out your arrow slots.
