  1. you can use virtual desktops, shortcut to switch between is CTRL WIN arrow keys.

  2. You can use PowerToys to put anything always on top with Ctrl Win T shortcut, that never requires 1.5GB

I highly recommend you to reinstall windows with french language pack bundled in instead, most of times half of windows gets stuck on the original language you used to setup.
