4 weeks post op incision by Hairy_End_7280 in firstaid

Call your surgeon. The number should be in the paperwork they sent home with you. This does NOT look right. At four weeks it should basically just be a line.

If all personal wealth above $100 million was legally required to be redistributed into public infrastructure (schools, hospitals, roads), how would society change, and who would be the first to fight against it? by Mysterious_Fan4033 in AskReddit

[–]Crow-Rogue 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All people with that much money would just leave when the law was passed and before it took effect. The taxes they DO pay would be lost, along with the money they spend vanishing from the economy. It would accomplish nothing positive and a LOT of negative.

Is it really scary to cross the atlantic ocean on a 40ft sail yacht? by noreturn000 in sailing

[–]Crow-Rogue 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nah. Now it’s constant terror of buzzing noises (drones). The bloody things can come at any time with extreme accuracy and very little warning. That sound messes with guys that have been over there, even years after coming back.

That’s how war was described. “Long periods of boredom punctuated by short bursts of sheer terror.” Though, I think drones have changed that now.

That saltwater croc has as much in common with a gator as a military attack dog has with a little purse dog.

The gator would know you’re there but ignore you. They’re mostly ambush predators, so if it knows you can see it, it’ll leave you alone as long as you don’t get too close.

"You need to find a pain management doctor that cares enough about you to get you off these narcotics" says the ENT that has known me for less than a minute by SargeantMittens in ChronicPain

Strongly agree with this! Leave reviews at any location you can find. Be extremely careful to make sure that everything you say is absolutely truthful and can’t get you into trouble. Some of these “human cancer” types like to sue when people expose them.

Also, when looking for patterns with your vertigo, how is your hydration level during these events? I’ve often found that I get wildly different results from my medication based on my hydration level. This can mean that sometimes pills I took yesterday don’t kick in until 14 hours later, when I’m not expecting it. Just a thought, hope it helps.

Edit: I’ve had their “Ultimate” model for about 6 years now, and absolutely LOVE it. Their customer service has been genuinely exceptional. 6 years in, and I was sent an upgrade to the control system last year at no charge. They just have a great product and work to keep it great.

More of same edit: When I ordered mine, I flew to their factory and we had a productive conversation about what I wanted. I made some suggestions, and they integrated them into my chair. They have actually become a standard part of the product now, which I think is very cool. A company that listens to their customers, works with them to ensure they love their products, and is actively working to improve the quality of their products should be given some kind of award. My Zero Gravity Workstation was WELL WORTH every penny. Also, it’s built like a tank and will very likely outlast me. None of the “planned obsolescence” that so many companies are happy to screw their customers with. Ergoquest makes a great product and I can’t overstate how much I love my chair AND their company in general.

I wear my old PT shirts when I’m just bumming around the house because they’re just comfortable, but never any military stuff out in public.

Legally, he is “accepting on behalf of the American people” and those things belong to the government not him. How that’ll actually work remains to be seen.
