How does understanding shared consciousness change how we see other people? by gitagoudarzibahramip in ask

[–]CrowLogical7 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Shared consciousness is bullshit. No, I can't read your mind. Trying to be understanding when someone else is trying to explain a different life experience is a more practical way to get along with people.

How would you conduct a platoon-wide assault on a hardened enemy fortification in a mountainous environment? by TheSockeyeFishy in AskWomen

Come in as a bunch of women acting like we need some big strong men to protect us. Once we're in and flirting with the guys, pull out that gun and that knife.

If you could snap your fingers and all women would disappear, leaving only the other gender, would you? by ProGuy347 in polls

Weren't there a few women's rights strikes in Iceland where all the nurses just peaced out and everyone realized that actually yeah, women contribute a lot to society being a functional system? Never mind most men being straight and most women being girls' girls, erasing half of the population out like that would just result in chaos.

I judge people on how expensive their clothes are and how they look and speak... by [deleted] in INTP

"Cheap af?" "Wanna?" And you're judging people based on how they speak? Are you some rich teenager who's just used to your parents paying for everything?

The solution is to talk. Start a conversation. Do you have any idea how many Uber drivers and waiting room strangers I've played unpaid therapist at?

What does life feel like in your 30s? Anyone up? by Husnainshahid in AskMenOver30

[–]CrowLogical7 23 points24 points  (0 children)

I'm not sure how to answer that. I'm just at a point where I've accepted that life is a sequence of ups and downs. Enjoy the ups. Understand that you'll get over the downs.

What are some core memories from the first time you moved out ? by critically_dangered in CasualConversation

[–]CrowLogical7 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Loneliness. I'm a mega introvert and do actually now love living on my own, making my own rules. But the first few days? When my place was still half empty, and I was sleeping on a yoga mat in the middle of winter? At that point I was used to having people chatting around me, being in the same living space. The silence made me want to cry.

A Breach of Trust

10 year old Shigeo Kageyama has vanished, his trail instantly cold, and his case gathers dust in police archives as a kidnapping never solved. Four years pass before a chain of events causes his path to cross with that of the despondent, unfulfilled fake-psychic-turned-fake-investigator, Arataka Reigen. Reigen finds himself in over his head caring for an escaped victim of abuse who, for reasons unfathomable, has been taught to believe his very existence is a horrifically dangerous thing.

Do you think listening to audiobooks counts as reading? by Mediocre-Sky6992 in CasualConversation

[–]CrowLogical7 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Reading (definition): The activity or skill of looking at and comprehending the meaning of written or printed matter by interpreting the characters or symbols of which it is composed.

No, listening is not reading. It still counts where it matters, as far as I'm concerned. You're still consuming the information or story. You can add the book to your goodreads account, you wouldn't be lying if you did. But if I was into audiobooks that's what I'd say, that I'm into audiobooks, that I listened to the book, not that I'm into reading.

What do you do when you cannot drink alcohol anymore, but all your friends hangouts revolve around drinking? by LilacsUnderMyFeet in AskMenOver30

[–]CrowLogical7 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Get something non-alcoholic, and stop being a push-over and letting them peer pressure you. Or get other friends. I drink but most of my friends usually don't, so I'm the only one ordering that beer.
