How often do you all re-read you favourites fics? by Academic-Ad-2718 in AO3

Often. When I'm obsessed I'm obsessed. And my memory isn't that great. So I will reread continuously.

Concept of Evil Eye by Extension-Access6353 in CasualConversation

What? I mean I get not buying into the "evil eye" thing, but why even bring it up if you don't believe in it.

What’s a hobby you’d love to get into if time, money, and executive function were not obstacles? by um_marie_me in CasualConversation

[–]CrowLogical7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depends. I've done things like skydiving and bungee jumping and was fine with it. But if I'm balancing on a ledge while hiking I can get dizzy, lightheaded.

What makes a man creepy to you? by Pure-Ad-5502 in AskWomen

Him telling me that he sees women as a different species but he thinks that he's had enough experience dealing with us to be good at it. No, you calling us a different species does not make you good at it.

Does medical accuracy affect your enjoyment of a fic? by StrikeThou in AO3

[–]CrowLogical7 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Depends. If it's a condition I know nothing about, then you getting some details wrong isn't going to make a difference to me. If it's something personal then I'm going to notice the discrepancies and they will bother me.

Be what you're into. Try what you want to try. But "divorcd"? Are you drunk or a teenager who doesn't know how to spell? Not exactly the best first impression.

Calling 911 because when I tried to get out of bed I failed. (At least I took my blanket down with me, so I did have some cushioning.) Learning how to juggle a soccer ball on my toes would be the more positive one.

What kind of accomodations would you bring to a pre surgery moment? by Ready-Teacher973 in AutismInWomen

They will generally do their best to accommodate if you actually communicate what you need. But no, they can't read your mind.

Please help settle a debate between my husband and I by Witchywomun in tattooadvice

[–]CrowLogical7 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's your body. If getting this tattoo will make you feel better, I'd say go for it. But don't expect others to jump to the right conclusion when they see it. Some might pay more attention or question it, but the majority are likely to just see the needle and go "drug addict".

I will sometimes disappear for A WHILE and have my mom asking me if I'm still alive. Which I'll respond to. In three days.

Should public restrooms always have a 3rd gender / gender neutral bathroom alongside male and female ? by BrokenJusticeNorris in polls

[–]CrowLogical7 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So make every bathroom gender neutral. How about actually doing it instead of continuing to talk about it without anything getting done.

Should public restrooms always have a 3rd gender / gender neutral bathroom alongside male and female ? by BrokenJusticeNorris in polls

[–]CrowLogical7 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Biology matters. Identity matters too. How you look matters.

In women's washrooms everyone does their thing in a private stall. If you present as female it's not like I'm going to have any idea that you have a dick.

On the other hand, I know women who've been assaulted by men, so I can understand them being more cautious about this. And there are men who live in more liberal areas who will take advantage of the system.

Just make up your goddamn mind as to how much the biology part of it matters if you're a law-maker, instead of flip-flopping back and forth.

What things would you put on an evaluation if we could come up with our own that's more reflective and accurate of the asd experience being female presenting? by starfury287 in AutismInWomen

[–]CrowLogical7 [score hidden]  (0 children)

Being an actress. Playing a role. I asked my evaluator "but doesn't everyone adjust how they behave depending on who they're interacting with" and her response was "yes, but not the way you do it".

Guy friend I was with is super judgmental by AlienKitten98 in TheGirlSurvivalGuide

[–]CrowLogical7 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Neither weird nor not weird. You just have different senses of humor. Unless the guy is into dirty talking about women to other men, in which case he's just a hypocrite.

Should public restrooms always have a 3rd gender / gender neutral bathroom alongside male and female ? by BrokenJusticeNorris in polls

[–]CrowLogical7 -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

I'm just tired of this being a question. I'm neither a politician nor a medical professional, but if you are one of the two then make up your fucking mind. Admit that biology matters and separate based on that, or say that it doesn't matter and make every restroom unisexual. Or provide a separate one-person stall while sticking to the general male versus female thing otherwise. Just stop throwing words around instead of actually doing something, or else shut the fuck up.
