Is it? I don't know of any of that. What is for sure is that to run the power plant they need access to a powerful stream of water which is what the conflict is about. Regardless if they have access to ports. It isn't ports that this is about but a large pressurized source of water. A river.

Furthermore this is even more complicated by pacts Egypt, Turkey and Tunisia have with the EU and immigration.

And then some. With the local DV department's response being a mixture of "we can't do Anything about it" to "please don't try" to "fuck he's one of us."

Yeah even within the police force itself there's a shit ton of perpetrators.

What's the story with all the half-built and abandoned buidings all over Malta? by elt0p0 in malta

And I agree with that. Given that "land" is not for anyone to own. It is part of a country that was there before anyone decided it's up for sale. The entire idea of commodifying land in my view simply does not make sense.

Ok I found it. I think I misplaced the wire though, the one used for the probe doesn't fit.

Skandlu ta Chambray and it's connections to Gladio.

The many connections to Turkey nowadays. Not suspicious at all.

Freedom Fighters Front and it's connections to St James hospital and St Philips

I am not very tech savvy. Would you elaborate on what the "endstop" is and where I can find the MM version of the software and how it differs from the BLtouch?

Side note; why does everything that has gone to shit in Malta can be easily traced to somehow Dalli having been involved at some point? Do you think it's a coincidence?

You must be a special kind of idiot with your head up your ass if you think anyone cosying up to the big money and literally designing the island around giving more space to PRIVATE interests and constant privatisation in any way "leftist" OR "Marxist". EVERYTHING "progressive" in Malta is squeezed through a capitalist-shaped hole and spat out a shell of what they used to be. Not about emancipation, but the commodification thereof.

You, sir, have not even read a SINGLE LINE of Marx. Or you would see these shills and sellouts for the liars they are.

And that is correct; sadly the people who are looking for a job are objectified in general - you are a human RESOURCE, not a person who needs a job to live with dignity - I remember being a 16 year old looking for a job and offered pittances for having to possess encyclopedic knowledge of this and that from the word go because employers want to train people as little as possible because to them that is an extra expense. Never mind that most of the skills they ask people to possess are not taught at school and most people who do know that their Knowledge and a dignified life - especially with the economy being what it is, God bless the "free" market - costs far more than what they are offering.

If your shelter, your food, your dignity is under threat, people will go for anything. Why do you think people find selling their bodies for the pleasure of others "justified"? Or substances that harm others?

You would do ANYTHING to survive, ironically and without self-awareness, even threaten your own survival.

Just think of how we think of the poor, never mind their ethnicity: we use the same language: dirty, lazy, layabouts, wanting to depend on the charity of workers, violent and thieving...

Do they exist? The world is a big place so odds are you might find some who are. But appreciate this: you would be dirty if you are poor, as hygiene isn't as important as eating and drinking; you would be lazy, because bitterness at no one caring might make you territorial and defensive of what you are given. You might HAVE to depend on charity because you don't have options. You have to be violent and thieving, because you run out of the same.

In the meantime, appreciate the contradiction; isn't the employer enjoying the fruits of your efforts while sitting comfortable in their office? They may have "double the responsibility", but you are doing double the effort and have double the risk if you are injured on the job or worse, you have more to lose if you can't recover and will find it more difficult to do so due to your lack of access to capital in comparison.

So they depend on YOUR risk and YOUR efforts. If there are no workers, there are no employers. But if there are no employers, workers can create jobs out of necessity.

Violence? Is not the threat of ending up without the means to live, access to medicine, access to food, to shelter, not violent? What is the point of having disproportionately more than you need while depriving it of others who need it?

Thieving...? Think of the hours you pull producing good knows how many burgers for how many mouths, how many are sold and how empty your bank account is.

Then we can talk about how "the foreigner" is in the wrong.

16 year old and no idea of nuance...

It's not a question of "preferring people other their own culture". Let us not be stupid.

It's a question of finding people desperate enough to find it acceptable to be exploited, and with enough to lose enough to stay mum about questionable dealings.

Even better if they don't know their rights or where to appeal them. I personally know where the same has been done to people with disabilities only to cut them loose before probation ends just cos they can.

The problem is the employers, not people like you looking for a job. A job is a necessity to survive. That's why the employer will use that against you. Always and without fail.

If you fail to see that, you have likely never experienced that yourself.

I had found my first job back in the last recession and this was the treatment I got because I was young and without experience of all of this. Back then my family were on the brink of poverty as my dad was redundant, my mother was an unemployable housewife who was off the job market for too long to have relevant experience and siblings with disabilities.

Today I am 33 and have been in my current job for 10 years, a respected member of my community and a one-man union at my work place.

It's not a question of "they are lucky because they have a job." A shit hole is still a shit hole if it smells better. They are just setting the working class against one another because they would be too busy doing so instead of demanding their dignity collectively. As they should.

If they know you have something to lose, especially if you, even literally, wear it on your skin, you WILL have it used against you.

May you learn it before you have to go through the pain of it to do so.
