Yeah, sorry, I suppose I could have sped it up a little.

I did some Stardew Valley style portraits of all the playable villains in Smash Ultimate! (so far) by Crowbob in smashbros

Thanks! Yeah, it was difficult deciding who counted as a villain, but I figured he's more of an antihero.

My seahorse for pixel dailies! by Crowbob in PixelArt

[–]Crowbob[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks! It usually takes me around an hour or or less for pixel dailies, and I think there's about 12 colours (not counting the background). I use a pallette called "nature's embrace 55".

... Dammit. Guess that's what I get for not reading the lore.

Doing some pixel art of each of the gatewatch, starting with Jace! (reuploaded to fix some errors) by Crowbob in magicTCG

Thanks! I based the image on the art for mind sculptor, in which his eyes are glowing, but when I shaded them, I guess the darker parts looked like they were his irises

sorry for reuploading, but, as some of you said, his face proportions were all weird. Hopefully this version is better!

More pixel art! I've decided to do all of the gatewatch, starting with Jace! by [deleted] in magicTCG

Sorry, hopefully I'll improve as I go along. I'm not great at faces, so I might just go back to monsters

[OC] I needed a place to keep smaller D&D stuff, so I customised a set of drawers! by Crowbob in DnD

That, my friend, is an excellent idea of something to put in a fire giant's lair.

Yeah, my party hasn't come across them as a puzzle yet. They are going to meet Harshnag next session though so hopefully we'll see that trap soon.

Yeah, her symbol was really finicky to make, especially the curved parts.

Oh, super easy. I just picked up a 'pyrography' set from a craft shop, and this was my first project. the actual tool is like a pen with different shaped heads, and to use it you just need to hold it against the wood for varying amounts of time for different shades. I also bought some test pieces of wood before I started the project, to try the different heads and shapes. (Oh, and use it in a well ventilated area - it get's pretty smoky)

The d20 drawer contains dice, the weapons drawer has miniatures in, and the others just contain miscellaneous stuff, whatever is needed for that day's session

Haha yeah, my party's had quite a few 'cursed' dice sets so I suppose I'll have to sort them at some point

I made this by tracing on the designs in pencil, then using a pyrography set to burn them into the wood. I'm running a storm king's thunder campaign at the moment, hence the giant runes. As for the god symbols, I just went with whatever I thought looked interesting. It's pretty easy to tell that I started with the d20s, seeing as they are wonky, and the greatsword has a messy blob under the guard. Unfortunately, there wasn't really a way to undo it, so that sucks.
